The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay

I sat down to watch the 2022 family adventure movie "The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay" here late in 2022 with my 12 year old son. And I will say that he definitely enjoyed the movie a lot more than I did.

Sure, I knew that it was a family movie, but the storyline in the movie, as written by Jacob Stock, just was a bit too childish and predictable for my liking. Yeah, it made for an easy viewing experience for a family with young children, that's for sure, but for me as an adult then this movie wasn't exactly great.

The acting performances in "The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay" were fair enough. I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, but they actually carried the movie well enough, despite the fact of having limited material to work with from the script.

This movie came and went without leaving a lasting impression for me, and it will slowly fade into the mists of oblivion and never be retrieved for a second viewing.

My rating of director Christine Luby's 2022 movie "The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay" lands on a four out of ten stars.

I really liked this film because it shows the reality that many people are, the greed for wanting more and always having more than what is necessary to live makes a human being lose all reason, or that something he says is reasonable at that point. Unfortunately, many people don't just want to have an ordinary life, but they want good, more than that, power, the uncontrollable search for money, wealth and status.

The importance of keeping nature as it is, I think it is very interesting to make this clear so that people always remember how necessary it is to maintain nature's biodiversity as it should be, and any changes that may occur by nature itself, which knows what that it does, and it doesn't need a human being to tell it what needs to be done.

The entire filming part is good, a good film to watch and a very cool script, and again, as I am Brazilian and in favor of nature, I really liked the film, and again Izabela Rose is beautiful and sweet, with a performance that really enchants, beautiful and with great talent, I really like her and I think she's incredible.

This movie is only for kids. Kids that have no idea what they are watching and just want to get entertained.

I feel this movie was made with a very low budget.

A lot of the scenes were awkward and cringe worthy.

The low budget made the movie look very fake.

I am an adult and love ''Pixar/Disney'' movies etc, and I thought this would be a fun movie too. I thought this movie would be something similar to those ''Pixar/Disney'' movies, but I was wrong.

I feel I wasted my time.

I feel this movie left me with nothing.

Only watch this if you have kids that want to see this or if you are a kid yourself.

If you are a kid, then this movie is for you :-)

If you are an adult, then I don't recommend you seeing this and wasting your precious time :-)
