This is the last movie of Hoi-choi's trilogy and the one that called the end of Japan's prodigal life in the economic bubble. Screenplay was well written as "the orthodox love story" but Isshiki's twisted idea of the finale made this film more impressive than the previous two. We should also value the performances by relatively younger and less-experienced casts. Among them, Yuki Matsushita was terrific. Her acting was just like living a pristine and genuine character in the film. 1982, we spent the time with bittersweet feelings and we saw this film with sentimental and melancholy feeling in 1991.

For sure, Yuming's songs were really matched for expressing the time transition of the period.
