Vampire Strippers

I really have to wonder what would possess a person to make this film? People actually paid to have this made and I want to give that person a hug and tell them it's all going to be okay. They could have bought a latte with the money they spent on this.

Bad acting, bad plot, bad sound, bad production, bad actors, bad lighting, bad costumes, bad everything.

When I first started this movie I didn't believe in the church. After watching I understand a whole new culture. I understand the vision that Royce Davis had for this movie. The characters are not only unique but bring an absolute colorful insight on what commiting to a role is. These A tier actors need to take notes from some of these actors and actresses.

Now the peek of this movie is its absolute well dressed hidden gem Thomas. His dialogue is something from famous Greek poet Homer. He is a 5'11" funnier , better looking Martin Lawrence. He absolutely sold me for his 15 minutes of fame that he was an possessed service of the devil. His Devil cameo is not only frightful but just makes the story even more compelling.

The editing was amazing April did such a fantastic job and poured everything she had into this one. The shake cam is obviously done on purpose. To show the difference in the real world and when their in the underworld with Julion.

This was a real joke. Vampire Strippers. A movie about Strippers and strip clubs with a complete lack of nudity. The casting call must of said must be willing to work for free. I worked in the industry for several years, if this was the talent it would have been closed in a week. The talent was almost fully dressed on stage and the guys were throwing 100's. NO WAY. The sound was terrible, the lightning was either too bright or too dark. They covered the couches and walls with wrinkled sheets. Girls dancing to entire songs while guys threw 5000 at her. This would be unrealistic if they were throwing 1's. One dance set literally lasted 10 minutes with some find out generic elevator music playing. One girl came out completely fully dressed with the top and pants that came all the way to her ankles and never changed while they threw hundreds never in a thousand years would this happen. The audio director had no idea what he was doing. The big gangster rich vampire was being driven around in a Kia Sorento what a joke. Partying on a yacht drinking out of paper cups. The dime store fangs were really funny. This movie is a complete waste of time. I recommend looking for something else to watch this is terrible.

This was a masterpiece of iMovie genius. The actors' chemistry and commitment to the piece against all odds shone through- especially the widow and Julion himself. The odds against this production seemed to be stacked quite high, but they leaned into potential weaknesses and turned them into strengths. A realistic coffin wouldn't have gotten half the enjoyment out of us that the party city coffins did. The lack of extras and minimal sets make the cast and crew of this movie feel all the more close-knit and familiar. The fire eater was a nice touch as well. The movie pulled from a rich history of Black vampire cinema, with its premise paying tribute to such hits as Blacula and Vampire in Brooklyn, though with the iconic addition of strippers. The poor pacing and odd club montages do nothing to break the spell cast by this movie; they only add to the incredulity and delight of the viewer. This movie should be studied in film schools as proof that you don't need high quality production to make a fascinating and transcendent cinematic experience.

I have to admit that I cringed throughout the movie and skipped most of it due to the poor sound, bad camera angles.

I understand that it's hard to make an independent movie, and I feel that the movie lacks an artistic direction. The director seems to have wanted the movie to be serious, but with a small budget, sticking to absurd humor would have been better. You can't claim to be serious when your sound is peaking through the movie and your reflection shows up in mirrors in a stripper joint. In those cases, stay on the wacky side and you'll be enjoyed as a nonsensical comedy instead of a terrible horror movie shot with a Canon T5i with the built-in Speaker...

At least he can say he has a movie out on Amazon, which I can't boast to have... so, keep it up Royce!
