A quite disturbing but unique scenario about the poisonous/mundane "nature" of wealth. The ending is really impressive portraying the desire to be rich as an incurable mental/behavioral problem that constitutes the source of all suffering in human societies... This film is not for those who look to be entertained; it is a thought provoking story with many sociopolitical and ethical implications that will impress those who appreciate substance instead of spectacle!!! Overall, acting is above average, cinematography is adequate, directing is sufficient. I watched this with some friends and it triggered a great conversation after watching it. I definitely recommend it!!!
The acting seems SO fake, and the dialogue and sound feels like very poor dubbing. This movie could have been good if someone else made it. But the very fake acting and unlikeable characters destroys everything that could have been good with this movie. I have seen this in other movies too lately. What are they doing? Recording ALL dialogue after the movie is finished? Because most of the actors can't speak proper English? In that case it would have been so much better with original language and subtitles (although I hate subtitles...). I gave this 3 stars because they made me watch it cause of the storyline. But really, don't waste your time on earth watching this garbage.
The story appears to me super weak and the more I started to think about it and the way the actors did act in the film, the more I wanted to stop this film.
Like why is it only about the rich, if you get rid of your money, how can a virus/ bacteria/ whatever know this in real time. Or in case its something different, how could it know that you put a pile of bundled dollars on fire.
It just doesnt make any sense to me. Same for the strange conclusions and actions the actors did on certain events.
I think this film is a waste of time and I cannot recommend it.
I could manage 1hr15 mins. So maybe its better afterwards.

No pun intended - there are sayings that say money can't buy you happiness ... this movie seems to go one further and is saying it actually can buy you sickness ... how else would you decipher (interpret) the title? That's a bit rhetorical of course.
All that said, the movie is obviously a social message - philosophical and all that. What does it say about our society - about our humanity? Are we all greedy to a degree? Just different variations of that? And why can't we be happy with what we got? Not wanting more all the time ... I mean I guess it is good to not want to stay stagnant ... it's good to be on your toes, to always be moving.
And we all get to see that through the eyes of one particular family .. one that is poor at first ... so most of us can relate ... the movie is decent, the message may be a bit too obvious ... the end on the other hand is quite ... well open for interpretation I reckon ... you decide, if you can even sustain watching until the end ...

While nonsensical on many levels, I thought the premise of the film was interesting. I was fascinated to see how the world would 'connect the dots' of what was happening. But we're not witness to very much along those lines.
Instead, we're taken from 'normal world' to 'crazy world' in the flash of an eye. I realized after watching this movie, that the film makers wanted to sell their political viewpoint, but it didn't work for me.
Lastly, many films that are apocalyptical like this one, tend to use the same plot device of the protagonists needing to escape where they live, for safer ground far away, and the story revolves around their journey trying to get there. I found the journey to be boring, and I wasn't impressed once I had arrived. My rating = 5.
