Bombay March 12 proves that relevant,thoughtful story lines are still not extinct from Malayalam cinema.The storyline of the film is crafted appreciably well by Babu Janardhanan and he has done a fine job by presenting it in the best way possible.The only problem with the movie is that it lacks the color and fastness of a peppy entertainer and may not suit the masses who go to the movies to get entertainment alone.The film can be termed as a thought provoking realistic drama.,one of the best in recent times.

Performances::As the promo said Mammooka does a character never done before and that also,excellently well with apt expressions.The film boasts his ease of acting and dialog presentation and is sure to give him critical and mass acclaim for his efforts.Unni Mukundan is a talent to lookout for the future and does complete justice to his role of Shajahan.He has got a meaty role in the movie and he have done it with full commitment.Roma got an excellent opportunity to bring out the actress in herself rather than the typical bold-girl image that she has.She has utilized the opportunity well up to an extent.Sadhique has done his career best performance as Shajahan's father and requires a thumbs up for his performance.

Some +ves::Background music by Prashanth Pillai requires a standing ovation and is the best produced in the industry this year,really in tune with the theme.Direction by Babu Janardhanan is good.Good lead performances.Cinematography by Vipin Mohan is catchy and perfect. Melodious Music.

Some -ves::Climax may not be appreciated by many among the audience because of its sudden encounter.The sequence of events may be confusing.

Music by Afsal Yusuf is melodious and suiting the theme of the story.The album has a mix of genres ranging from a fast paced Hindi song sung by Kailash Kher(not included in the movie) and a peppy number by Sonu Nigam.The music can be rated a 7.5/10.

VERDICT::Bombay March 12 is a class movie for the movie admirers and the elite audience.The film has an ample dose of good direction,drama,act and music. Ma Rating::8/10

Madani killed 100s in coimbatore blast and cant imagine a superstar like Mammooty will play as him. This movie doesnt do justice to the people died in Coimbatore

Bombay March 12 hopefully gives a fresh impetus to Malayalam cinema.The director is able to portray the trauma experienced by the common man belonging to the minority section in the aftermath of a terrorist attack. Although there is a bit of drama in the latter half of the movie it doesn't take away any credit for the bold topic taken up by the director. The film is to showcase the struggles a commoner faces in upholding the values of humanity. The narrative keeps you guessing and is a beautiful innovation in Malayalam story telling. Mammooty and Unni mukundan gives a commendable performance. Certainly one of the top movies in the last few years.

This movie is all about the chain of bomb blasts occurred in Mumbai March 12, 1993. But its not like other crappy movies we saw about terrorism. The way Babu Janardanan (writer, director) told the story was equal to some brilliant Hollywood movie. And Mammootty was equally brilliant with his 3 different appearances in the Movie. Roma wasn't bad and it is the best she could do. The movie also tell us about how a simple and Nation loving Muslim guy was forced to be a terrorist (Unni). There lot of things you wont understand or you get confused in between. But mysteries get unlocked step by step and ultimately leads to unlock the big suspense. The best part of the movie will be the way story is told hats off to Babu Janardanan and also the Story had immense depth unlike recent movies. Characterization was also good. And the whole movie takes you into it. I can understand why didn't it a success at box office, people only want to get entertained for the 2.5 hours and not be in thoughts. sad about that. its a much watch for people who love good movies. One of the Best movie in malayalam.
