Imagine an episode of Bluey but take away all the fun you can, you get that, it is not a series that stands out much, has a color palette that is very similar to Bluey, and with some moments that are not memorable in any way, the first chapter was long and eternal, and had an air that they wanted to emphasize many times that it is an American series. Continuing with the theme of style, the backgrounds used in the house have a great similarity with Bluey, an example is the dining room that uses almost the same color for the walls, in general I would not give another chance to this series. 1/10.
I swear I'll be previewing every cartoon my kids watch from now on AND the service it streams on. I was excited to see a new children's show backed by public figure me and my family support.
Nothing against Bluey, but I wanted something closer to our family's personal values and it was similar enough visually. The reviews on here were promising, the kids loved it and from what I would hear in the background, it sounded perfectly fine. I thought it was a perfect addition to the kid's tv time, but what do I get? A sudden influx of back-talk and attitude.
The kids are louder, more irritable, and started picking fights with each other more frequently. Both me and my husband were startled by this random development but it didn't take long for us to catch on and see they started imitating/mimicking the characters. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt but it didn't get better no matter what we tried, so we have to pull the plug on Chip Chilla.
This is my own fault, I'm picky with the media my children consume and I immediately picked this up based on Bentkey's marketing.
Worst mistake ever, don't even get me started on the nightmare that it is to try and cancel your subscription, you literally cannot cancel it on your own- there are no options, you have to contact customer support. Trust me, your kids aren't missing much with this. It's not worth the headaches.

You Can copy the music and copy the animation style, but you can't capture the magic that is Bluey. This show is boring and quite sexist. There's mansplanning and women are taught to stay in the kitchen while the men wait for their dinner. If fathers care about their daughters don't let them watch this unless they are okay with their daughters being later treated like servants by their spouse. Always watch tv shows before showing to.you kids. Next time create something original cause it is apparent that they were very limited on ideas. Also for those saying "it's a kids show and not for adults" imply that kids need dumbed down television.
No surprise it's review score is low. It's a copy, a blatant grab -for-cash copy. Pathetic.
This is an obvious carbon copy at work with a lazy twist on the plot. The issue isn't about being a kid show, or that it's "just a fun little show" it's about taking someone's idea and style and blatantly trying to cash in. This show is a perfect example of someone seeing a successful show and getting dollar signs on their eyes. Hopefully at the end of the the shows flops and hopefully not too many views become invested in it.
The colours, the family dynamic, the spirit and feel are direct carbon copies of a successful show developed by others who had the imagination and put in the effort to get it going when they're was nothing like it. Lazy carbon copy mercenaries.

Chip Chilla, a character known for their cheerful disposition and upbeat attitude, has unfortunately fallen short in several crucial aspects. While initially marketed as a relatable and endearing addition to the animated world, the execution of this character leaves much to be desired.
Firstly, Chip Chilla's character development lacks depth and complexity, rendering them one-dimensional and predictable. The repetitive nature of their optimistic persona fails to exhibit any significant growth or internal conflict, making it challenging for audiences to form a genuine emotional connection.
Furthermore, Chip Chilla's storyline often veers into cliché territory, following a formulaic trajectory that fails to offer any surprises or innovative narrative twists. The lack of originality and creative risk-taking diminishes the character's potential impact, leaving viewers disengaged and unenthused.
Additionally, the voice acting associated with Chip Chilla lacks the necessary nuance to bring the character to life. The delivery often comes across as monotonous and uninspired, failing to capture the essence of the character and contribute to a truly immersive viewing experience.
Overall, Chip Chilla's underdeveloped character, predictable storyline, and uninspiring voice acting result in a lackluster portrayal that fails to leave a lasting impression. With a more dynamic approach to character development and a fresh, engaging narrative, Chip Chilla could have been a far more compelling and memorable addition to the animated world.
As a conservative, hardworking Canadian, I cannot in good conscience recommend this show to anyone looking to watch it with their children or grandchildren.
