The landscape itself is a brilliant uncredited actor, dark, twisted, and uncomfortable. The film does a lot of small things right that all pay off big.

The actors both lean into their roles, with performances that compliment one another, while bringing forward a sense of tension and discomfort from their introduction, keeping the unsettling interactions flowing throughout, while disarming you just enough to really push the finale.
