Van God los

I was not expecting this gem of a series, each episode is a different topic and the episodes are not connected, the crimes are based on real events. As in all this type of series, you will like some episodes more or less than others, some will frustrate you because of the topic, a lot of tension.

Despite not being recent, they started filming it in 2011, it is worth seeing if you like crime series, strong, rough and significant themes of our current society.

It seems very realistic to me and I wouldn't watch it with younger people under the 18 years of age.

I will never be able to understand murder, unless it is self-defense, judge for yourself. Don't miss it !

In my opinion this is one of the best (Dutch) series of the last past years.

If you want to call it series anyways... There is not really a storyline that runs thru the whole series, and there are no characters that are in multiple episodes. The thing that connects the episodes, is that every one of them is based on a real life murders in the Netherlands. In the episodes you see the aspects that led to the murder, viewed from the perspective of the 'criminals'.

Every episode feels like a short film, many of them with great actors, scripts, and overall very high-quality feel. The thing that attracted me in this series, is that it often shows that killers are normal people too, most of the time driven over the edge by there surroundings. End the end of the episodes i often got the feeling that the person did the right thing by (intentionally, or not) kill other people.

It was a weird feeling, almost understanding the killers. But that only shows the power of good storytelling. And by doing such a great job at that with this series, it is really is the best dutch series in a long while.

This is one of the best series on dutch television. Every week a new episode with every episode another true story. Most of them are in the genre horror or action. With subjects as Gayhate, Drugdealers getting shot or some other things!! In the most episodes are some dutch celebrities. And in every episode is another cast and another director. The first time i saw Van God Los it was a movie that was made in 2003. When i heard there was coming a series of this movie i toughed finally!! I recommend it to everyone i know.. And i hope that they are gonna make a season 3 after season 2 what's bye the way going to his second episode this week! Every week i'm looking forward to another episode! I really dig this thing!

I said fiction in the title, because with this series IT's hard to pinpoint what IT is, IT's actually reality but played by Actors and rewritten as a story of most...

Ive watched all of the Seasons right now and I must say this is one of the few good Dutch tv series Dutch creatieves tend to, How to put this.... Write half of a story and than they 'will look what Comes of it.' And than the series falls flat most of the time. But this show gives me a unexplainable feeling of awesomeness even though ITs about herendous crimes.
