Settle Down

Laugh out loud funny, deeply touching and so relevant. Mason's character arc feels super fresh to me. It's tough to find the balance of a character who needs to become a better version of themself without making them unwatchable, but Settle Down nails it. I found myself craving more and wanting to find out where his journey would take him. I really hope they're able to make another season!

There sure is a lot packed into only 6 episodes! I love how emotion - centered the series was and how it genuinely approached relationship drama. Even if the characters feel exaggerated at times, the challenges they face are real.

I loved the visual side a lot as well - the locations, the outfits, the vibe and thoughtful creation of each character really made every single person stand out in their own way, corresponding with the whole creation. Kudos to the actors for pulling it off and making the characters shine!

The series made me chuckle, sigh, grit my teeth and roll my eyes, which means I felt invested in it! Good job on the writing, the acting and the picture as a whole.

I wasn't sure what to expect from Settle Down, but wow-Episode 1 completely pulled me in. The writing is sharp, the characters feel real, and Mason is such a compelling lead. It's refreshing to see a show that balances humor, heart, and authentic representation so effortlessly.also shout out to Georgia. She had me in stitches!

The dialogue is natural and actually funny (which is rare these days), and the story already has me hooked. It's the perfect mix of lighthearted and meaningful without feeling forced. If the rest of the season keeps this energy, Settle Down is definitely going to be a new favorite. Can't wait for the next episode!

This show is so refreshing! It so nice to see a show starring a black gay character that is married to another black gay character. It's beautiful to watch this because IT IS SO RARE TO SEE. The lead is so easy to watch and his presence on screen is important because this would only be a side character on a network show starring a white women and he would only play the assistant with witty retorts and comments, but you never get to live with that character. Here on this show we get to! I hope they get a second season. This is the kind of series we need to support! Did I mention that the entire main cast is all people of color?? (Except one, but that's okay!) What I also love is that they don't make it a point of anyone being of any color which is also very refreshing. It's just a uniquely refreshing story. Please watch!

A great show that feels very Canadian very Toronto and like a breath of fresh air- great writing and directing + dreamy cinematography. Discovered so many great actors through this show - definitely worth watching for laughs and some good drama too. Only bad part was when it ended - hoping it continues.
