Inventions That Shook the World

How is it that nearly all the inventions that shook the whole world happened between Europe and north America and by mostly white men?!? You mean to tell me no women, no one in Asia, Africa, South America was using their brains to make the world a better place?!?? What a lazy attempt.literallyNO ONE affiliated with this production had the wherewithal to do real research and attempt even the hint of an unbiased accurate depiction of the vast contributions of the global majority?!?! This is ignorance at it's absolute finest and I hope the producers of this waste of time have since grown in their intellectual capacity.

This show is supposed to be about inventions that shook the world so you mean to tell me only white people Inventions only shook the world? There are so many inventions that Black people created that white people stole and took the credit for.. y'all steal our creations steal our knowledge and try to enslave us to work minimum wage to get you richer.. I have a story for you if you really wanna know inventions that shook the world.... The microwave was invented by a black man, we are the most hated on Human being in the world, but yet hear we are one of top greatest creation in the world... y'all learned and stole everything from us.

Technology thru a hundred years. Many of the tools, industries and gadgets we have today made their appearance many years ago. This is a fascinating review of the unique and everyday conveniences that make up life today. Very entertaining!

It's a pretty good show. It's just really hard to get past mispronunciations with my ADHD brain. If it were just one guy making the whole show, I might let it slide but when credits roll by, there were more folks who could've said, "Just one thing...," before it was finished.

"Inventions that Shook the World" by Steve Herringer is too ambitious a project for a simple 10 program production.

Naturally as with any abridged work and selection, we do not all know what was abridged and quickly notice our favorite inventions are missing. We may also notice some of the facts are misleading or too simplified.

After getting over the shock, the presentation is pretty good at explaining the handful of inventions with pictures, graphs, and re-enactments.

After watching this program, you will have a better perspective on how it all comes together.

Too bad it had to stop with inventions of the last century.
