I detest the meanness and nastiness that are trademarks of the "Pure Taboo" series, but here's a pair of surprisingly upbeat episodes, preserved on DVD. Sure, the writing is as stupid as ever, with characters behaving unbelievably, but for once the viewer is not left in a sour mood at the end.
Title vignette has a plausible premise: married couple Lauren Phillips and Tommy Pistol (how did that tall beauty end up hitched to such an unappealing lug?) are very friendly to their young babysitter Gabbie Carter. But it turns out that they've built an actual shrine to the kid in hubby's workroom, which upsets Gabbie a tad.
Any viewer can identify with this, as Gabbie quickly has become the most popular starlet in porn -you'd have to go back a decade to Riley Reid to find a comparable following.
Storytelling promptly falls apart completely, as when the couple owns up to this peculiar behavior, Gabbie immediately suggests they all f*ck, leading to hot 3-way sex for the remainder of the segment. No further plot twists, just XXX action.
Supporting segment titled "Happy Household" is beyond silly. It has certifiable MILFs and best friends London River and Natasha Nice chatting inanely in a cafe when London suggests they bet on a plot twist in one of their favorite reality-tv shows. London wins, and NN has to do her pal's housework for a whole week.
This script has all the depth of a "sex with the poolboy" stag movie. Finale is telegraphed when London's husband Seth Gamble has taken the week off to stay at home while Nice is visiting to dust and scrub the place into neatness. Hmm...
The home is represented by a crummy set used over and over lately for Adult Time content, with the same black & white paintings still hanging on the wall. Another threesome, and a perfect score for casting four actresses all with really big boobs.
David Lord and Kay Brandt are responsible for directing this nonsense. I'm just thankful that the label's penchant for in-your-face misogyny and misandry is absent.
