This is a light fluffy series good to relax with and suitable for the family. Even though Rein, the Beast Tamer, accumulates a harem of cute demi-humans, it is like a family and not presented in a perverted or sexual manner.
The story begins with Rein kicked out of a "Hero" team and called useless. Rein is depressed and feels low self worth as he begins a solo career as an adventurer. Rein gradually accomplishes tasks and proves himself. He accumulates his own team of special creatures who support him and make him stronger.
This has a good combination of action adventure, quests, comedy and friendly fun. There are some nasty villains to create dramatic tension but not any blood and gore. This may be boring to some, but just right for others. I think this will share an audience with Land of Leadale. I personally find Leadale slightly more appealing, but Beast Tamer has better animation.

I started watching beast humor earlier this year at first I was extremely skeptical, but it turned out to be one of the most amazing most underrated anime out there, because the story is extremely simple to understand, and is extremely well written, and deserves more than just five star reviews because I rate this 1 million out of 10 and 1 million out of five stars because this is the best anime I've ever seen. Everyone deserves to watch it and it is extremely family friendly although I wish they were other family friendly animes out there like this one and spy family. And I think there needs to be anime, like beast tamer I think there should be more family-friendly anime out there, because I think family-friendly anime are the best kind of anime to watch along with good romance, anime as well but best hammer I think should be the number one enemy out there, and it will always hold a special place in my heart, because how well written, and heartwarming it is and
that is my review.
If you're looking for an anime with a unique plot, you won't find thar here. In fact, as far as storytelling goes, it's pretty paint by numbers for this genre, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
The anime is light and fluffy with cute characters that stretches the "Babe of the Week" storytelling across a 12-episode season.
My main gripes of the first season is the complete lack of character development and the fact that Reign is just too much of a nice guy. Especially with someone who has childhood trauma, it's amazing how he just cuts through the nonsense to get to the point, especially in the final episodes.
I don't know if there's going ro be a second season, but if there is, it needs to address the character development issues immediately.

This series is not a must watch still decent.you can have fun watching this.all characters art style are good and likeable.you can watch it incase of change of pace.although everything in this series is predictable still it is ok. Another overpowered main character in a unique way.the protagonist isn't overpowered on his own but by some others he is the strongest.well you can find out after watching this.the power system is unique and i liked the concept.this had the potential but couldn't held its place strong.still im waiting for S2 hoping for some good actions and romance.there was no romance at all in S1 and that pissed me off.
There are lots of harem anime out there but most of them are just wanna be harem anime. Meaning the harem element is not the focus of those anime. The existent of Harem Element in those anime/Manga are useless and meaningless and not important at all. Writers include Harem Elements in those anime/manga as a FAN service and to get popularity/attention.
Well, this is different and unique. In "Beast Tamer", the protagonist must build a harem of powerful girls in order to became OP and continue his adventure. Otherwise, he won't be able to save the world. Since his world setting is High Fantasy there are very powerful being like beast, gods, monsters, demi-gods, demons and even Demon King. He needs to become OP. The story is great and simple to understand. The animation is beautiful. And there are no ecchi stuff, no nudity or 18+ scene. So, if you are a FAN of Harem anime that has High Fantasy setting, start watching this anime right now and became one with the protagonist and enjoy like it is your adventure. It's not realistic but it's what we Harem Fans want. A Harem with a Harem Ending in a Harem Anime.
