Tehran doesn't offer neat resolutions, and that's part of its brilliance. RK's mission is filled with moments where he could give up yet he doesn't. The interplay between political pressure, personal loss, and the unrelenting pursuit of truth is what makes this more than just another spy thriller. The abandonment by his own country feels like the ultimate betrayal, but also the ultimate test of his character. This is a film that stays with you, urging you to think about the hidden costs of national security games.
The movie has wonderful making even comparable to an Hollywood action flick. The actors did justice to their roles as well. But having the movie named Tahran and shooting the action scenes in an blantantly visible English speaking country ruins the authenticity of the movie. Should have been at least shot in an Arabic or Persian speaking region.
It feels like Jack Ryan made in India.
Good Storyline but direction, execution and cinematography of some shots could be better.
Good Action but sometimes the aura of action gets ruined because of the unmatchable BGM. Decent one time watch.
John Abraham done a great job from his side but the men behind Direction, Cinematography, Editing needs more training.

I found Tehran compelling because it doesn't paint its protagonist as a flawless hero. RK makes mistakes, second-guesses himself, and yet keeps pushing forward. The way the 2012 Delhi bombing threads into the narrative gives the story a grounded, almost documentary-like weight. The political betrayal adds a personal tragedy that makes his determination to expose the truth even more admirable. By the end, you're not just watching a spy story you're watching one man's fight to reclaim his dignity and voice.
Sleek Geo Political Espionage thriller by John Abraham and Team
Kudos to John Abraham for finding niche audience with movies like Diplomat and now Tehran.
Furthermore, it's more like israeli Espionage thriller which we earlier encountered at OTT.
Awaiting more reception from Indian mainstream audience to acknowledge such movies.
