Simple and straight boring. A story for an average short film was stretched into a two hour movie, unbearably lag and the way story narrated and the level of stupidity to say toxic relationship can eventually work out, I'm sure director was smoking some funny stuff. The only character that may look good or possible likable is the lead heroines friend. The hero is so horrible and acting is nothing less than garbage. Priya p warrier tried but it's not any good but compared to hero she was better You may think the music is good, at first I also felt that later realising that it was some what copied from aanandam movie.

An amazing experience... Saw 4 years yesterday. The movie touched me so a lot that I broke into tears, bringing back my good old days in college. It left a sweet pain in my heart for quite a while recollecting those days. There is a director's brilliance in the way the story has been narrated, touching the hearts of the audience. A very good job was done in the musical section also. The songs were very soothing and up to the situation. Still, Vishal and Gayathri are hovering over my head. It's a movie which youth shouldn't miss. A great wow........ to entire team especially to the director Ranjith Sankar.

This movie took me back to good old days. Felt like every scene was carefully woven and made it into a masterpiece. Great direction..great BGM.. Great Story but Priya the Princess of expressions takes the entire movie on her shoulders. She has turned into a great actress of our generation now. Request her to make more movies.

Wish we have more and more movies like this that touches out inner soul and brings back our good old memories..songs that touches your heart. Can this be please made into a tv series so that we can see more of Priya.!!!

First 10mins kandappo cringe adichu marikumennu vicharichu but pinne pinne angot interesting aayi thonni.... cringe okke koranju... Avasanam okke aayappo disaster onnum allannu thonni...

This had a zen vibe to it and i guess that's why it worked for me, I completely forgot the convo's the two leads had soon after finishing this one as that wasn't what kept my interest.

It was the atmosphere, the music & background scores, both of which were good and carried a zen vibe to it.

But Edakku maduppokeundarnnu and wanted the duration to be like around 90mins.

Sarjano Khalid gave a watchworthy performance.... Priya miscast aanonuchoyicha idk mahabore aarnilla but Sarjano aayitulla combo verumbo valare weak aayi thoni.... Theere intensity illatha performance pole okke, Sarjano mallittu oru sidil perform cheyyumbo orutharam bland emotional expression(like nonactors usually have) ittu aa pair performance ineffective aakiya pole.

Director Before trilogy kandu inspired aayi edutha padamanonnu oru doubt und... Ath koreyokke interesting,realistic as well as amateurish conversation kondanu progress cheythathenkil ivde convos ne kaatum songs and bgm aanu kuthinarachirikunnathu but surprisingly athonnum athra bore aayi thonilla.... Writing lu nalla intensity undarnne this would've been a real good one but avde almost completely flat aarnu.

4 Years, a nostalgic journey back to college days .The film is a campus film told in an unusual approach .Oscillating around the emotions of the two central characters .the story takes us to our college memories .The film beautifully narrates the ego clash of the protagonist which leads to their breakup and the struggles to get back together .

The Heart whelming BGM complements the feel of the movie. Both main actors, Sarjano and Priya varrier ,have given an appreciable performance as Vishal and Gayathri. The melodious songs done by music director Sankar Sharma have blended into the mood of the movie. Salu K Thomas has done an awesome job as cinematographer in portraying the college ambience .Overall ,"4 Year" is a feel-good entertainer which all teenagers can always relate to .
