Mala persona

Honestly, this film was pretty good for its genre. The storyline is quite decent, the characters are not that flat and the performance is fine on the most part, and I certanly would rate this higher if it wasn't for the finale.

This was one of the worst finales I've ever seen in a comedy, not because it's uncommon to see in the genre, wich it isn't, but because it's extremely anticlimactic. The whole film is more or less consistent, so it was very outraging to see that "nothing happened" finale, as it feels like the writers did not have any idea on how to end this, and there was also some great potential for this finale that could be not only smart but very pleasant, but of course, this is repressed because of the vague writing.

I am Spaniard, so consequently I've watched this thing thinking it could be funny because of the well know cast. But I was wrong. The only funny thing here is that I've Amazon Prime for free lol First, if you're not a native Spaniard probably you're not going to understand 80% of the jokes. I mean, I don't understand Mexican humor even I speak Spanish. It is a fact. So, if you need subtitles, forget this one.

Second, it is not funny even for a Spaniard. A lot of weak jokes, absurd ones and forgettable irritating characters.

So, if you're looking for a great humor masterpieces I recommend The Naked Gun trilogy, not this cr*p.
