Selina's Gold

I am quite certain that is not what Ms. Spears meant when she sang that song - so no pun intended. Also I probably should not make too light comments about the movie - even more so when you consider how horrible this starts off. Really tough to watch - family issues would be an understatement. Or if you want to be funny (well sometimes humor is the only way to deal with things) you could say that this right here will not win the father of the year award.

There is nudity, there is a lot psychological but sometimes physical pressure and pain dished out ... you decide if that is something that is worth it ... sometimes it is also pleasure and not just pain ... but too many cliches ... too many things that drag this down ... not really something I would recommend, unless you are a fan of one of the actors.

I just love it and I just want to know more about this drama movie..and hope through movies will inspire me..and also to know more about it..toughly..that what I wanted to know and see this movie..can you please allow me to watch this movie..for my inspirables and to motivate it through this time...because not only that but also I just love it ..it just seen also..ad I hope this movie will so interest to watch it...like how there act and how they make it that movie and also I just want to know ...this new drama scene..I hope through this movie many people will inspire n interest to watch also..

I enjoyed this movie; it is definitely worth watching once. The characters were well-played, and you did not get bored until the end. Certainly, we can predict the plot before the film begins. It is a different story with great performance, and the movie clearly shows the poverty, money power, slavery, and betrayal. Hats off to the director and the girl who played the lead, from beginning to end, she gave excellent performance. I love the background location of that movie, it is truly nice and great to watch. I hope drama movie lovers will surely love this story. The actress's beauty is incredible, and I loved it.

Taking place in 1942 during World War 2 when the Japanese invaded the Philippines. Selina is sold by her father to a man that is the one in the village with money & gold. He treats her as a slave, using & abusing her. She finds friendship with a blind male slave as the two of them try to survive.

This is often sad and even disturbing. Yet it's a Vivamax production so includes quite a bit of nudity and some softcore sex scenes. There's really a very good balance between the story and the sex. It never feels like one gets in the way of the other. The nudity usually seems like it's just part of the story and important to the character Selina.

The acting by the cast is excellent and Angeli Khang who plays Selina is outstanding. She is absolutely gorgeous I'd almost think she must be AI generated. The direction is also excellent.

This is one of the examples of Vivamax getting everything right. Known for their softcore sex movies, this is just an excellent movie.

Selina is a rather peculiar movie. At face value, it seems like a softcore skin flick. Yet it's laden with so much trauma that it hardly feels sexy at all. Selina, played by the beautiful Angeli Khang, is great to look at, yet she's mostly found to be crying or being forced to suffer through some horrible act bestowed upon her by her new master Tiago.

That's not to say that the movie is bad at all. It actually feels quite authentic in its portrayal of what is essentially a teen girl being trafficked to a much older, wealthy man. The runtime is fairly long, and although the movie gleefully fills that time with much nudity and sexual acts, there is an emotional story underneath it all.

Overall, Selina gets a solid recommendation, yet it's obviously not going to be for everyone.
