Wow this film was so awful on pretty much every level you could think of, bad special effects, unbelievably awkward and wooden acting, especially from one of the main actors, big guy, older, too old frankly to be playing the kind of character he was, couldn't buy for a second that the young lady would ever be attracted to him, he was like the acting equivalent of a brick, watching him and the Sarah Silverman looking chick was just cringe! Lol there's some faint enjoyment here on a purely B-movie level to be had if you like em cheap and awkward as hell, but there are better options out there for that like Troll 2 or Birdemic, this film ends as abruptly and stupidly as everything else that happens in its run time and I was left feeling like a grade A sucker for watching it, so bad it's laughable, stick with that killer grizzly movie from the seventies instead. Oof, all the wrong ingredients have to be in the pot for a movie to turn out this bad!
In fact, I'm a fan of some movies that are lower than B and I've watched more than once. I'm particularly a fan of grizzly and shark movies. Low budget movies don't have to be bad and there's usually something redeeming to be found. There's little redeeming in this one. Bad story/plot, bad acting, bad cinematography, bad blood, bad CGI, bad kills make for one mother of a bad movie.
I had great hopes, too. Nature takes revenge against man ravaging the land is a great trope. Into The Grizzly Maze is a favorite of mine, showing a rogue bear going against man. I hoped for something similar here, but was destined for disappointment. I ploughed on until the end, but decided to review to warn others. Don't waste your time.

A really low budget (and I mean reaaallllllyyyyyy low budget) animal b-horror movie. This is one of those films that seems to have been made a student film project or by a family-friend group with a member who had recently purchased a video camera and wanted to get some mileage out of it. Poorly made and poorly written. The CGI bear has less screen time than a kaiju in the Monsterverse and looks to have been quickly produced in blender. There is a single hilariously notable scene where a college student seduces an older cop, talking about how much of an alpha, primal male he is. It is very funny, and is of course followed by an awkward, simulated foreplay scene in a motel bedroom.
Fun when you have nothing better to watch.

The concept was good, the cinematgraphy was nice, ohhhhh the acting was so poor. The lack of actual grizzly attach sequences just displays the bare bones budget of this movie.
Some good character moments between the two protagonists, but the acting really brought down those segments. Almost zero sfx for the blood and gore. But I wasn't bored with this movie, so I'll give it credit for that. Oh and this is a movie with and environmental message. The bear is pissed that his habitat has been polluted so he goes on a rampage of revenge on humankind. And how does a grizzly attack and kill humans armed with rifles and shotguns. Were they all that slow on the draw?

Anyone that would give this film anything more than a zero is smoking the devils lettuce. Was this made with a cell phone by people on drugs? My God almighty, what has America come to? How something like this could be put on demand and or on a venue like to be or any other streaming platform is an absolute mystery to me. Apparently anybody with any kind of made in China cheap digital camera and 50 bucks can make a movie. I only gave it one star because I had to. I hate to hurt the feelings of the guy that made this but it can't be helped. Although there are hundreds of movies like this on streaming venues nowadays, and it's just a mystery to me, how this kind of absolute garbage can be put forth as a movie. The way these scenes played out gave me such a nauseated feeling I considered going to the hospital.
