I only know few popular korean actors so the stars here are unfamiliar to me, however they are quite very good I have to say.
The female lead character was kind of unbelievable, like a superwoman, doing everything you can think of (I wouldnt be surprised she cooks well too). I think they've put too much super-ness on her. The male lead, quite the common male superstar actor, so hes quite realistic and managed to balance the development of the story.
What makes this also enjoyable to watch is because the actors were not by typical romcom young korean actors, but by mature ones and they still came out funny, I think theyre mid-30s to 40s.
Overall, I think this is an entertaining series, binged on it in fact. Better than "Business Proposal" and "Shooting Stars" in terms of acting and story.

I really loved this rom-com. It was light-hearted, picked with incredibly funny but also heartfelt romantic scenes. In 10 episodes I came to love the main characters, cheer for their journey of mutual understanding, respect and love. I especially liked the friendship between the male leads. It was bromance at its best, but also the female leads were great in supporting each other.
I cannot understand the bad reviews on this one as I had an absolutely amazing time watching this adult rom-com kdrama, especially the lack of overly cheesy moments made it an absolute pleasure. 100% recommendation for some joyful kdrama hours!

I thought this was going to be another cliché drama and I wasn't convinced about the male lead at the beginning, but oh boy! How wrong I was.
I have to say that I am extremely happy to keep watching south korea creating more and more feminist and non traditional dramas lately, we have had a lot of jewels lately but they keep surpassing themselves.
This series is an oda to women's freedom and how we should never settle for the patriarchal norms that are stablished by a sexist society. And of course it also depicts the double standards for men and women within that same society.
I could say this series is open minded but in reality is only open minded in Asian countries, because women are already living this reality in western countries.
In terms of characters I cannot stress enough how much I ADORE the FL character in this series. Strong, witty, quirky, loyal and with a huge sense of justice. A woman fighting against societal stereotypes for women and ignoring judgement from others. Just being free doing whatever she wants to be happy, same as men have done for centuries.
I also loooved the bromance between the ML and the secondary male lead.
Super fun series, short and sweet. Packed with comedy and action you will laugh and enjoy the electrifying chemistry between the leads.
What is not to love??? Go watch it!

This was so fun to watch and definitely binge worthy too. Only 10 episodes long it can be watched in one weekend. The description's I have seen of this series I have seen don't give it justice and I almost skipped over it on my watch list but glad I gave it a chance. It is full of romance, action by both the female lead and also the ML during his film shootings. The FL Kim Ok-vin is very likable and full of spunk not only an intelligent lawyer but talented physically in street fighting, pool, darts, taming men all for the sake of revenge for being treated badly by men "because she is a woman". Of course she is working in an "all male" good old boy law firm and one of the lawyers is an X-boyfriend who she took revenge on. I rarely mention a FL and she played the part perfectly so it says a lot for me to include her in my review. The ML. Teo Yoo has been casted perfectly to play the part of "a jerk" as he was called by the FL. He treats all women badly and is a top actor that hides his true character from fans. The actor I really loved the most was Kim Ji-hoon - how can you not? He was just too handsome, cool, played his part with perfection - CEO & Manager of the entertainment Co. Have seen him in Money Heist & Evil Flower & was fantastic there too. I may have to kick someone off my Top 5 FAV List Male K-Drama Actors and add him instead. The ending could have been a little more satisfying IMO, however still gave it 10 due to maybe Netflix was leaving it open for 10 more episodes in a season 2. One note is that Netflix went a little overboard billing this as a bromance movie IMO.
I actually hated the first episode. The production was annoying and I don't like the weird acapella music. It wasn't fitting to the mood or the plot. But the production was less annoying after the first episode.
The characters are really good. I enjoyed how they brought up the issue of sexism in Korea. At first I was wary because the main girl was blatently hateful of men in general, but she had a lot of character growth and realized that she was also prejudiced against guys. It was a natural progression that was really honest.
I loved their romance. The main guy's eyes crinkle up when he smiles and it's adorable. It's not overly dramatic and dark. They maintain a healthy relationship and have good communication. They have fun together too, laughing and playing as equals. It's not often to see that in dramas so I really liked it.
