Beautifica 360

The good: music was decent.

The bad: the music had no cohesion from one track to the next and no sense of overarching theme. The visuals looked dated and lacked a sense of purpose most of the time. (Not to mention incongruous to the "message" of "the beauty of life.") And on that note, what's with the narration? He just randomly throws out words of generic inspiration like "love." "joy." "kindness." "gratitude." If that was supposed to be meditative or uplifting, then yikes.

Overall, I was left underwhelmed, uninspired, and dare I say bored. There was no sense of harmony throughout the show and I would be hard pressed to see how the images even remotely complemented the "beautifica" theme that Hood was trying to convey. Hard pass.

After seeing this for myself, I am shocked to read such horrible reviews. This was an amazing new experience. Someone said "it's just a bunch of visual strung together with no rhyme or reason". But what did they expect? To have a main character portray a hero, and save the damsel in distress? That would be a movie, which they play in regular movie theaters, all over the world. They should have went there, if that's what they wanted. This is a beautiful new experience, with amazing graphics and visuals, inside of a dome, and is meant to help you remember thatblife is beautiful and amazing (if you will allow it to be). After going to the website, and reading about it, and watching their "trailer", I knew exactly what to expect, and I was not dissapointed in the slightest. And the tickets were almost the same price as a normal movie. It's worth the money. I will tell you this, when the camera started moving through the stars, it felt like you were really moving. It's that "immersive". I went with 3 other people, and we all loved it. I only gave 9 out of 10 stars, because I wish it was longer!

This show was amazing very relaxing and kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was coming next.the colors were phenomenal so we're the scenes,I would recommend everybody go see this. I can't wait to go back again,we'll worth every penny it cost.i would recommend taking the whole family, I was also a great date for me and my girlfriend I drove two hours each way to see it and I will do it again. It made you feel like you were flying and pulled you right into the scenes like you were part of the show I can't say enough good about it it also was romantic for the two of us I left there wanting more.

Beautifica is a cringey set of poor CGI visuals overlayed with cheesy new age music and daft commentary.

I honestly cannot even fathom who greenlit this nonsensical disaster to be promoted on IMAX. There was no rhyme or reason to the transitions and the art felt random and disconnected.

People comparing this to screensaver art are not even exaggerating. Fractals and kaleidescope visuals for a full hour do not make a compelling experience.

"Be kind, dance, feel alive" a toddler could've written a more insightful script.

Save your time and money and see something else. Also be kind... Because... Maybe you weren't aware that you should be.

Enchanting journey into imagined and sometimes psychedelic worlds. The 360 visuals bring the art to a whole new level. The artist layers poetic voice-over at several points in the show that encourage participants to celebrate life. There are some animated scenes where we fly into city scapes and neon forests. Some of the scenes look like digital fireworks.

I've seen the show in a few different dome theaters. Some are better than others. Try to sit closer to the rear of the theater along the centerline. Some of the visuals are overhead which is hard to see from the front seats.

The show is on the slow side... great for chilling out. Definitely not an action film. I love it because it uplifts my mood.
