What About Me?

Stumbled on this new series through Youtube. Bravo on cramming in a lot of heart in such a short amount of time. Solid acting, funny writing, and a sweet little watch for Pride month. I recognize the mom from Dr Quinn (loved that show too!) Really felt like I was watching a family go through it. I lost my partner a few years ago, so it definitely hit me in the feels unexpectedly. Each episode was pretty short, so I am curious what another "season" would look like? Longer episodes would be nice! Or just more in general! Would love to see more and would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a laugh, cry, or all of the above.

I had the opportunity to see this at a festival and am still thinking about it months later. The best way to describe it is that it's a rollercoaster of emotions in the best way. It had characters that I really felt for (which surprised me given that each of the episodes were pretty short) and the story itself felt both relatable but absurd and silly.

The best part is absolutely the writing, but the acting was also top notch. Overall, this was an easy watch and felt like a studio quality show despite being considered short form. Hope there's another season or something more with this project!
