I liked it a lot, at first I didn't know what was happening, it starts a little slow but it manages to attract my attention and kept me watching until the end, Pauline's main actress did very well, Pauline is a teenager about to win a scholarship abroad who ends up involved in a situation of demons and pregnancy resulting from a night with a mysterious boy, nothing far from reality, except that the boy turns out to be the son of the devil. I need to know what will happen after that last episode, I hope the series gets a new season, apparently it is only available in Europe and USA, a little sad, it deserves to be seen all over the world, I can only recommend it.

Rating: 3.3/5 (Close to Good) Pauline is a short six-episode series that follows a girl who becomes pregnant with the devil's child. The concept seems pretty simple at first, but the show includes some twists and turns. However, they still weren't enough to completely capture my attention. Why? Let's talk about it.

What I Liked: 1. The different representation of angels and demons. This aspect doesn't become obvious until around episodes 3 or 4, but I think you'll understand my point by the time you reach these episodes. I really appreciated this fresh perspective -especially the fact that the devil is portrayed as Lilith rather than the classic "you-know-who." This might be one of the reasons the show received a decent score from me.

What I Disliked: 1. Some parts were genuinely boring - almost as if they were trying to pad the runtime with predictable scenes just to stretch the series to six episodes.

2. The show only becomes truly engaging toward the end of episode 5, which is unfortunate. You have to get through about four and a half decent episodes before you reach the interesting parts. Also, season one ends on a cliffhanger, so I assume a second season is planned?

Conclusion: This show could appeal to people that like the demon and angel stuff. It offers a unique and different take on the subject. That said, the first 75% (approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes) of the series is rather dull and predictable. Thankfully, the final 25% (around 1 hour) redeems it somewhat. If you are a person that dislikes cliffhangers, you might want to skip this - because it definitely ends on a pretty good one. This show is so short that giving it a shot won't hurt anyone. Who knows, you might end up liking it more than I did.

I like the way it's done. I am only on the 4th episode but I'm really excited to see the rest and what the ending of this season has in store for me. The character's are pretty well chosen. They did a good job with supporting characters and the small detail's that you really need to build a show and make it interesting. I'm hanging on every moment because I'm dying to see what comes next. Even the stuff that's personal which usually bores me, they've done a decent work of tying it together but the truth of it all is killing me! The actor from Dark was a great choice for the son of Satan. The concepts have a great foundation for a fantastic show in the future, too. I hope they make more seasons!

A "mini"-series for teens who love and adore supernatural, it's full of uninteresting cheesiness, the acting is actually good, all the rest are not and are just mishmash ticking and counting until each episode ends. As always with Disney productions, it has no serious layers, though with some depth, is totally kindergarten forgettable.

The production value was ok for this mini-series and the CGI used in a few scenes was not breaking the immersion. The script really lacked badly and was all over the place. It just felt there were only twists, but no development.

Yet, I think that the main actors - Nikeaata Thompson and Ludger Bökelmann - have a promising future. The sidekick of the Lucas character - Tammo(?) had some serious comedy chops.

It should be noted, though. That the show does not really end with this season.

I really wish that you shouldn't have to write novels for a review. They should really half the number of characters as requirement.
