The Essex Murders

This is an absolute must see - found myself bingeing the whole lot in one sitting. The whole series is totally compelling while raising some disturbing questions about policing and corruption.

Doesnt come down hard and fast in any one direction but definitely delves into enough the case to at least raise big questions about the case (which after 25 years is still ongoing!). The tone and look of it is also just stellar and hard to think of something I've seen that weaves the story in the past with a present day unfolding investigation so well. For anyone interested in true crime, this is a must watch.

Most realistic look into the real crime of the murders which have been going on for the past 25 years very well detailed well done TM EYE. So many other Essex boys storys out there don't hold any truth them. Real facts here and all the conspiracy theory's versions are cleared up and tackled. A lot of People read into the films made with are mainly fictional so it's good to see some real true facts and motives along side how their true life's really played out. I highly recommend watching this if you are into true crime or just enjoyed the films Essex boys and rise of the footsoldier a this is the real story.

This is a great in detail account of the essex boys murders. All I have to say on the matter is this just shows how corrupt the justice system is as well as the police. To this day the police are still refusing to reopen the case even though there is more evidence to light which potentially proves the innocence of whomes and steele. Even more evidence than what they were prosecuted for. The police obviously wanted 2 drug dealers off the streets so used Nichols as a way to do this by giving him total security for a scripted false testimony. Just watch it and tell me you don't agree. Anyone can see this.

Yes the original individual who claimed to be the driver can't have been because he couldn't get the time of the execution right.

But it just isn't plausible that the second one would confess to being the driver who was no good reason for doing that.

The second ex cop clearly doesn't have a clue about what needs to be provided evidence wise for the second claimed driver to be believed.

Clearly the whole thing is a massive beat up by the authors of the doco.

Otherwise quite well presented but has these massive flaws that prevent it from really being very useful.

Ultimately who cares who were the actual executioners.
