Well that was a complete letdown
This last season has been very lazily put together, it lacked originality. They obviously didn't know how to give us a satisfying conclusion to the run. The writers seemed to watch a lot marvel, dc, other Netflix shows, classic sci-fi movies and some British sci-fi to. Then copy and paste plots from them, what makes it worse is they didn't care enough to try and hide that they have done this. The end result is a big massive mess of an end season that ultimately going to leave a bad taste in the viewers mouth that have been on this journey since episode one. My fingers are crossed that Strange Things doesn't suffer 5he same fate, and yes they throw a bit of that in the mix as well.
What a Waste of Time
I'm glad for only six episodes. I kept watching because of my investment had some decent result. This is just a rambling, convoluted mess. The characters have become unpleasant and selfish. The final explanation is cruel and senseless. The business about not being remembered is the fate of all of us considering time and what it does. Anyway, after all the hoopla over the Cleanse, something creative could have been done to maintain the interactions among the characters. So we get this sappy, bucolic thing at the end, as people play Frisbee and frolic in a park. It seems utterly anticlimactic to me. It's the dullness of everyday life. I'm glad, however, that this is the end of all this.
Umbrella Academy last episode review
My opinion is that the finale of the series was pretty good, it gave that nostalgia-sad feeling you expected and it is kind of sad saying goodbye to such interesting characters and the actors. I believe that even though the ending was decent you expected something more, I don't believe it deserves 4.7/10 rating at the moment I am writing this. Moreover though I believe the series could have done something better and more full filing for their audience, I can see the vision they had but they could have done something more. I believe that all the episodes of the final season were a little bit mediocre but you expect something like that as it is the fourth season, of course it can't have the same quality as the first one.
Entire season felt rushed and disjointed
This series reminds me of so many other series like Heroes or. The Gifted. They have some super interesting characters and some interesting story arcs but they got lost and failed to stick the landing. A lot of the arcs in the last season came out of nowhere and many of the main characters behaved radically differently than they had been portrayed thus far. It just seemed rushed and inauthentic. It was like reading a book with complete chapters ripped out.
I think a lot of us have multiple timeline fatigue. There are so many shows with multiple timelines. They can be challenging to follow at times, especially when shows go on hiatus for long periods, and you get the feeling of Deja Vu when watching it.
I loved the cast and the characters, and I loved the addition of Mullaley and Offerman.

If I had nickel for everytime a good show with a 10-format episode made their last season a BAD 6-format rushed one, I had two nickels...
But it is weird that it happened twice, I-.
That's it.
Game of Thrones Season 8 all over again but worse.
Worse because at least they tried to justify their acts, badly, but they did on the other show, but on this one. Well.
No justification at all for how badly all the characters' evolution, and the mid-season plotwist messed up everything once created.
I guess once again screenwriters believe their perspective is the only one that should be taken into consideration.
But then, they fail. I swear to the universe an intern could have done a better job at handling this last season. So rushed and nonsense.
Wow. I thought GOT set the bar high with bad finales but this one went went higher than Mondo Duplantis. Lmao I don't think they can create such a bad finale to beat this one, Game of Thrones you are dethroned! IM----

- AnecdotesThe song featured during Five's trip back to the subway is "Dead To The World" by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Another song by the same group, "In The Heat Of The Moment" was featured in Season 1 Episode 5, "Number Five" during the montage that showed Five growing up in the apocalypse.
- GaffesIn the last season, they say to let the cleanse happen so that there's no more time lines, but Lila saved the kids/family, which doesn't make sense because if they all cease to exist that means their kids don't exist too.
