Tenacious D's cover of this iconic track is a slightly rougher version compared to the original, but it fits perfectly with Jack Black's unique style.
The music video is the cherry on top, featuring Tenacious D's two bearded members laughing and running through the surf like carefree kids. They're clearly not body-conscious and are having the time of their lives-Jack Black included, wearing swimwear that's loosely inspired by Borat's infamous mankini from the 2006 film.
But hey, that's Jack Black-a comedian, a musician, and a whole lot more. When you're that talented, you can do almost anything on screen and still make it work. And while their cover may have a rough edge, it's also beautiful, well-crafted, and sounds fantastic.
