Ariel

My daughter who is on the autism spectrum loves this show so much. It's so rare she'll entertain something new so when she took to this I was excited because that meant we can finally take a break from her other shows. The music/songs the whole family finds themselves singing along. I'm shocked it has lower reviews because there is absolutely nothing wrong with the show. I'm so happy they added more episodes hopefully it sticks around for a while. The characters are adorable we've already bought merch from stores............. Overall it's been great and we finally have a Disney Jr show that grasp her attention.

At first glance, Disney Junior's Ariel might seem a little far and unrelated from the classic Little Mermaid franchise. However, if you set aside expectations, you'll discover a delightful and heartwarming show. Each episode offers simple yet engaging stories, making it a joy to watch.

The show excels in showcasing and celebrating Caribbean culture. One of the highlights is its vibrant musical numbers, predominantly featuring Moombahton, with touches of Reggae and Bossa Nova. These genres enrich the narrative, adding a unique and enjoyable element to each episode.

Overall, Disney Junior's Ariel does a fantastic job of highlighting the beauty and diversity of Caribbean culture, making it a must-watch for both kids and adults.

Ignore the low ratings. It's only because bigots hate change and anything that is not white. Such a great show with a new spin on an old classic. The visuals are vibrant, the songs are adorable, and the characters are better than ever. Anyone who is this triggered by a child's cartoon should evaluate their priorities in life, because trashing this show all because its main character has different melanin is deeply disturbing and full of hate. I love that Ursula is no longer a bad guy and that all the sisters have a wide ethnic background that is inclusive of all types of people in our world. If you're not a bigot and full of hate then you'll love this show!!

Amazing music! The best Disney junior music in my opinion! Love it!! My daughter and I love the fun, bright colors, good message, and wonderful music to dance to! Hope they keep this one for a while. Nothing to complain about here - 5 stars for Ariel. The little girl also has an amazing voice.

I'm not one to watch animated stuff, but upon watching the first episode of Ariel, I was hooked. Ariel and her best friend, Lucia, are so charming and feisty.. Love this series. Once O watched the first episode, I watched two more right away. The charm of the series gives me such a warm feeling, unlike some animated stuff, that feels a bit cold...not humane.

Ariel is the best.

I think that the charm could translate into a live action film or series. That's how much I've connected with these characters and the ambience. Even the "scene sets" are so much more alive...real...than many other animated films.

Love "Ariel" so much. I'll be watching the new episodes this week!
