The Flash: Escape the Midnight Circus

Writing this because of the other review I read. I am not sure I understood any of what they said and I'm not sure why it not being a tv show automatically makes it not good, it was thoroughly advertised as an audio series. It seems like it is based around the DCEU version of the Flash, as at the time the movie was still pretty new. Max Greenfield does a great Barry, and I was invested in the story. Its premise is simple, Barry trying navigate an alternate universe he stumbles into, but it is a lot of fun. And it genuinely made me laugh several times. I would recommend if you like audio series and/or the Flash.

I'm really surprised and disappointed that nothing else points out this is an audio book by not-the-normal actors just reading some points without a real story.

Not who authorized this, but there's not even much hint it derived from the real TV Show rather than the comic books. I admit I've listen to very little of it when writing this, but had to point out what it WASN'T - and what it isn't a TV show or movie.

Even when a YouTuber posts someone elses music on YouTube, the somewhat better ones will post some scenes in the background of the video and try to sync them to what's going on....

Here... no such effort was made. Just a computer graphic that has nothing to do with the story whatsoever.

Love the flash. Don't love this.
