Cicada

The movie was really a different experience and it was successful in taking us through the wilderness and natural sceneries which were beautifully shot. From the start , it kept the audience waiting in suspense and the overall journey was interesting. The background scores were very well crafted and songs were too good and enjoyable. Gayathri Mayura has showcased great talent as a lead female artist and is indeed a promising professional to watch out for in the future. In general, almost all actors made a great show and it is certainly a thriller which entertained throughout. Nice movie!!

CICADA is a must movie to watch at a Cinema. The songs were very good and the music and the forest scenes were really top class. The picturization was up to the mark and the beautiful forest scenes of Attapadi in Silent Valley really stood out. The entire crew of this film have put in their very best to ensure that every thing is in place .The movie is totally different from the usual stuff you keep watching every now and then , like the male and female artistes are running round trees and singing a song or a terrific fight scene. The tribals of the Attapadi forest and their way of living have also played a small part .

Cicada is a movie that hands you the story in pieces. As you watch the protagonist, you are left with pieces of his past and visuals of the present. And as the story unfolds and he gets lost in mother nature.. you get led deeper and deeper into understanding his nature. This story, full of twists and turns, is supported brilliantly with the camera work. The beauty of the forests are captured beautifully. There are many parallels here. The movie seems to say that while the beauty of nature can be mesmerising, it would be foolish to take it for granted... And as with nature, so with greed and relationships.

The music, songs and background score touch the heart. This movie is absolutely worth a watch.

Cicada was such a fresh experience. Apart from the visual manifestation of human emotiona and nature , the plot was really good and out of box. The narration which was so much in sync with the visuals and BGM added to the output. Its definitely worth watching for all the experimental movie lovers. Definitely a yes for me. Try to watch it in theatre with a proper sound system.

Kudos to the entire team to do an effort like this. In short ,movies like this contributes a lot to the courage of upcoming artists to try something brave like this. Smooth narration , neat BGM and tight script. Congrats for the whole team.

I recently watched cicada movie. What a movie.

Honestly speaking without any expectations I took the tickets. After movie I was I thought if I didn't see this movie, that could be big loss for me.

I really appreciate each and every department of this movie. Outstanding cinematography, background music.

You can feel the forest inside theater. Each and every one did their best. Completely engaging from the beginning till end.

Waiting to see OTT release date.

This proved that Future of malayalam movie is so capable to make creative movie like this.
