Aaryan is great but it has a few issues such has it's very similar to Menaka which if you don't know is a web series so it's like the movie form if that and it's weird how the writer was shown so he isn't wearing a mask so it isn't a "whodunit" it's more of "howdunit" or "whydunit" because of such things the movie could have been better easily but it's a great step into the right direction for Vishal and it ISN'T RATSASAN the story isn't has good but it's a return to form but definitely have a watch at it.

Edit: I rewatched it and it was great everything was perfect perhaps the ending could have ended kinda better because it'll be a fully completed story the soundtrack and amazing acting were top tier and I believe this is top 10 best Indian movies about serial killers even 5.

Needs to use logic a bit more for crime thriller, have to follow common sense.

Can't have a detective story and let scenes happen by chance.

Could have corrected a lot of scenes - - like wife character was not required, a simple phone call could have resolved half the problems playing out, some of the murder tools could have easily been also affected standby people too, unnecessary fight sequences.

Casting was done good.

My first review ever, I normally don't review but this movie forced me to do it.. had so much potential could have been little better screenplay and could been one of these of 2025.

Sam C. S.'s background is great. The first part is over in exactly one hour.

The novel screenplay of a dead man getting involved in a murder is a novel one.

Vishnu Vishal, Selvaraghavan, Karunakaran, and Shraddha have all acted perfectly.

Story, screenplay, direction, background music, editing, and cinematography are all excellent.

A serial crime investigation thriller with a middling storyline in a cliche package.

The plot of the story revolves through the life of a failed writer craving for recognition executes the murders as per the story of his unpublished book.

Praveen has reincarnated the Manorama web series Menaka and watching the same content again lacked freshness. He has pulled out the story convincingly with the regular police procedurals, cat and mouse play and with the pacing kept the audience engaged.

Good performances from Vishnu Vishal, Selvaraghavan, Shradha Shrinath, Manasa Choudhary & Mala Parvathy. Good work by the technical behind the screen crew especially the DOP Harish Kannan, editor San Lokesh and the sound designer Sachin/Hariharan for their contributions.

The mediocre story makes this movie a one time watch with no major takeaways.
