All the Songs We Never Sang

Wasn't sure of what to expect before watching the movie; however, it ended up being a delightful experience for my wife and I. I haven't watched any Japanese films in the recent years and this film reminded me of why I used to like Japanese films. Film doesn't go into a spectacular scale and focuses on a small town event surrounding the main characters. There wasn't any loose ends on the story and the tempo of the events happening was well paced as well. Personally thought it would have been a good idea to focus on the beauty of the island with more vibrant colors; however, this might have been the intension of the director to foreshadow the drama to come. Once we were done with the movie, my wife and I agreed that we had this warm feeling after watching the movie. Would recommend.
