I recently had the pleasure of watching "Ready Set StartUP," and I must express that it was an incredibly captivating experience. The show's well-structured format intricately portrayed the journey of aspiring entrepreneurs, engaging them in a competition where they strived to transform their ideas into successful businesses.
One of the standout aspects of the show was the diversity among the contestants, each bringing their unique ideas and backgrounds to the table. This diversity not only added depth to the competition but also allowed viewers to witness a fascinating range of approaches to the challenges presented in each episode.
The challenges themselves were thoughtfully designed, testing the contestants' creativity, problem-solving skills, and overall business acumen. It was truly intriguing to observe how the participants tackled these challenges and adapted their strategies to stay competitive in the game.
Moreover, the hosts and judges played a crucial role in enhancing the overall appeal of the show. Their insightful commentary provided practical advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, showcasing both the positive and negative aspects of each idea. This added a layer of authenticity and substance to the program, making it not only entertaining but also educational.
One of the highlights for me was the tensions that naturally built up between the contestants throughout the competition. This dynamic aspect created a sense of anticipation and excitement, keeping viewers hooked from one episode to the next. It was a testament to the show's ability to draw out the competitive spirit and determination of the participants.

I binged-watched the six episodes of the show in one weekend. It's engaging and fun to watch, especially for someone who's into startups or has either started or wants to start something of their own.
It feels a bit like a mix between Dragon's Den and The Apprentice, with quite a lot of Reality Show vibes to it. Pretty funny stuff, al lot of drama. There are a few things that could be improved from the viewer's perspective, I'd probably like a bit more focus on the business side and less on interpersonal dynamics (even though I liked Gabriela!).
Interesting mix of people involved who I looked out after finishing like Roberta Lucca and Tom Blomfield. It would be good to see more of it and them.

Great show!
Great show!
I used to watch Big Brother, The Apprentice and Dragons Den when they first started up but got a bit bored after a couple of seasons when they got a bit samey. This seems to have attempted to combine all three shows so I thought I'd have a look.
Sure enough I wasn't disappointed as an assortment of likeable and not so likeable contestants battle it out for £100,000 investment in their business by doing team building exercises with the people they are competing with.
There's some funny and forceful characters, a likeable, camp Australian eco florist, a model trying to sell expensive vitamin supplements and a David Brent type who is likeable but is basically selling Jenga and an app but is good at word salad.
As an added bonus there's a crystal maze type escape room for them to all shout at each other in too.
The usual fake suspense as they are told their fate and a surprise twist in the first episode.
OK to watch while your ironing.
