Athidhi 2023 is a Telugu horror series that feels like a cheap quality school project. Even Youtubers are releasing better content than this.

The series follows the eery incidents that ensue on a rainy night as a strange woman knocks on the door of a mansion where a man lives alone. The plot is predictable and unoriginal, and the scares are few and far between.

The acting is also subpar, and the characters are underdeveloped. The director, Praveen Sattaru, seems to be more interested in creating a suspenseful atmosphere than in telling a compelling story.

Overall, Athidhi 2023 is a disappointing horror series that is best avoided.

Hats off to director magic wand. The 6 enemies (kama Krodha,lobha, mOham,madha &matsalya)which is embedded in us should be annihilated at any cost,is well depicted.. more desires will lead to more disaster is vividly seen in this film..God gives ample opportunities to rectify our mistakes.but due to our ego we are getting vanished. The concept of karma is implicitly portrayed..All characters are perfectly aligned to each &every actors of this series. Each&every segment of this series is interesting &inspiring.. it induces the thrilling aspect in each &every episode..once again my heart felt greetings &wishes to director sir....it is an eye _opener to all generations..

Watched a good show after a long time. Venu acting is a feast for eyes. "Athidhi" weaves a chilling narrative that grips your senses from start to finish. This series masterfully blends psychological horror with heart-pounding suspense, making it a gripping watch. The characters' depth and the eerie ambiance they inhabit draw you into their nightmarish world. With its hair-raising twists and turns, "Athidhi" constantly keeps you guessing. Character named "Savari" can be the most relatable character that gets struck in terrific situation and the comic sense of this character adds many points to the show.

Attempts to draw "inspiration" from a lot of other popular movies and shows in this genre, but fails miserably to entertain. The plot is very predictable, and the climax makes you regret the time you have invested into this show.

The acting is generally good, but inconsequential considering the weak plot. The sets have been neatly done and are believable with some decent cinematography. Venu Thottempudi was certainly the centre of the plot and has done a bang on job with acting. Ravi Verma was great in his role as well.

I'm glad tollywood is attempting to make horror mysteries, but unfortunately this show just doesn't cut it.
