I usually don't go around writing reviews, but man, this movie? It's a solid 10 on my scale (and trust me, I'm a tough critic - nothing ever gets a perfect 10 in my book except for this).
So, I walked into the theater with zero expectations, right? But this film turned out to be an absolute riot, way beyond what I thought it would be. I lost count of how many times I busted out laughing, and it wasn't just me - the whole theater was in stitches. The story threw some curveballs that I never saw coming, and the creativity in those unexpected moments? Genius.
Let's talk about the main cast, Kang Ha-neul and Jung So-min - they killed it. The chemistry between them? Off the charts. And the other folks in the cast weren't slouching either - everyone held their own. Big shoutout to the director and the writers, too - they nailed it.
If you're in the mood for a good laugh and a dash of romance, seriously, check this one out. And get this - I'm usually all about horror, but even with that background, I can vouch for this film. It's like a universal crowd-pleaser, breaking through genres and giving you the perfect mix of humor and romance. Don't miss it!

I have enjoyed a rom-com this much.
The writing, the casting and the performances are all top-notch. Only found this because I was looking for something with Kang Ha-Neul and what a little treasure it is.
The whole cast is wonderful but is there any genre he can't do, and do well? He's great at both comedy and drama, playing the well-educated (Misaeng) or an unsophisticated cop who speaks with a country dialect (When the Camellia Blooms).
The writing (thank you, Nam Dae-joong and Bang Gi-cheol) is fabulous, combining small touches of k-drama/soap opera parody with some original romantic themes.
I look forward to re-watching this.

Came to watch for Jung So-min and Kang Na-heul. Read the plot and expected a one time watchable feel good korean movie.
First half was actually good and the character of Hong Na-mi (played by Hwang Se-in) was the show stealer. But as the story moved on, the jokes reduced and logic also reduced near the end of the movie. Logic mistakes are something very rare to be found in korean dramas.
I expected a one time watchable feel good movie, but ended up with a movie with a boring second half.
I felt Lee Yi-kyung would've given us a better performance as the male lead than Kang Ha-neul. The role of No Jeong-yeol was tailor-fit for Lee Yi-Kyung.
6/10.

Considering all the hype surrounding this film, I was expecting to find a top notch romantic comedy about a couple getting a second chance at love. Instead what I got was the most generic and predictable story that was at times funny but mostly plain boring. I had a really hard time connecting with the characters and, worse, understanding why they should get back together at all. Yes, relationships are difficult, love it's not enough, and those involved need to put the work but this was never properly developed through the excruciating two hours film.
The acting is okay, mostly coming from supporting characters because it can't be from the leads. I am baffled as people seems to think Jung So Min and Kang Ha Neul give great performances when I have seen them do 100 times better, in the same genre, than what they delivered in this film. Personally, I don't think they are the problem. The cast was perfectly selected for each role, I would argue this film suffers from its director or scriptwriter. Maybe both.
It makes me sad to say this but Love Reset was not worth it.

While the show had it's funny moments, the storyline felt lacking in many aspects, like something written in a hurry. I love the actors but this movie bored me to tears, had nothing much to offer besides being occasionally funny and humour alone cannot carry a story. It felt like watching something I've seen a hundred times before. Sad I had to sit through this. It was cringey and cliche in the worst way possible and there were moments that were too painful to watch. Other moments it felt like they were trying too hard to push a joke or make it funny but it just didn't work out. Wouldn't be surprised to find that this movie was a cash grab. It's not all bad but yes, I find I am mostly disappointed.
