Wei you an xiang lai

Very elaborate script. It might seem like a chaotic start but you will quickly understand why.

It is a time travel story that will have you soon be hooked by what is happening.

Characters are very complex and layered and written with a dark side that's not common in Asian dramas that usually glorify main leads and classify the characters only as good as bad. The growth and development as the story unfolds is very evident and it was very refreshing to watch.

I also liked how unclear was during the whole drama who the male lead was, which again, never happens in asian dramas.

I actually did some research after I finished the series and the writers changed the original story of the book and they forced the happy ending with a completely different lead in the show. Hence the very ambiguous plots in the drama at times.

Zhoe Ye as female lead was great, loved her in Back From The Brink, and I think she is awesome and very versatile in drama and comedy.

Overall, it was a very pleasant watch, although I wished they had left the ending as it was originally intended which honestly made way more sense throughout the whole series, but it was awesome to watch.

If you crave for a slow burning romance than this series a must watch for you.

I dont like cringe romance in chinese dramas which is very common.

This show is something I have seen for the first time in chinese drama.

Female lead has potrayed her character with so much versatility. I just loved her in this show.

Story is complex but very engaging to make us hold on to it till the very end.

I liked the romance arc between female lead , her guard and the lord.

Almost every character in this show has shown as grey and which is relatable to our real life. Thats why I am loving this show very much.
