New York love letter and phenomenal cinematography

Distancia is a beautiful short film in New York during the lockdown where the main character is listening to his daughter's voicemails. He doesn't have any dialogue. It's a journey through New York as she describes what she wants to see when she gets there and how excited she is. The stunning cinematography and the emptiness of the city was hauntingly beautiful. I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen and wondered what was going to happen next.

I know many can relate if they have a loved one so far away. You want to keep a human connection but missing the closeness makes it difficult. Beautiful film with even more beautiful look at NYC.
