A must-view series for those interested in American myths, political movements and how they have changed and not, labour/employment practices then and now, and how so much really hasn't changed for the better, despite the passage of time and the repetition of the same mistakes and the consequences thereof. It is both frightening and despairing to see, after watching the evolution in that country, of the first billionaire/s, and how many are now in positions of power. Meanwhile, as always, the middle and lower classes prop up these oligarchs by paying taxes, doing the actual work, and by voting in these 'bought' elections. It's great to be reminded that innovative technologies, bold new ideas, and that government and industry can, and have, successfully worked together in the past. But it is also a massive warning that without innovation, new blood (including immigration), and fair taxation for all, the current authoritarian actions will destroy whatever potential this still-fledgling 'democratic experiment' can produce. Each individual has a responsibility not just towards their own wealth accumulation, but towards society in general. No man/woman is an island. No matter how much $ he/she has.
