How in the world did this movie Garner a 3 rating? There must have been a lot of shill reviews on here from the movie maker. This lead actor is the single worst actor I've ever seen in my life and that's with watching a lot of these garbage movies I say that. He is beneath the bottom of the barrel. Of all the movies I've watched with a low budget this is the worst costume for a creature in history...it looks like they went to Goodwill and and bought it. Its very loose. Doesnt fit and looks like a 12 year girl made it in home -ec class ...it is a national embarrassment ...this movie is horrendous. the dialogue, the writing, the illogic. Where do they find these horrible horrible actors to put in these movies? How do they get agents and a Sag card? How??? They are worse than High School actors in a school play. Wow
I don't know why they re-titled this in Germany, but it's called "Monster Outside" there. I mean yes, there is a "monster" outside, but Field Freak would have worked too, don't you think? But back to this and boy is this a freak. And to really like this, you have to be a "freak" too. Or a strange fellow if this is more to your liking.
The movie here is really bad! So hopefully you didn't just see my rating and went "not helpful". If I was rating just the movie as it's quality, I should have given it a 1/10. But this is so mental, that it actually works. Just not as a horror movie, rather like a comedy. A not intended comedy. Ed Woods would be proud and not because it plays in the woods (lame joke you say? Wait until you see the movie and the "monster"!! ... just saying ...)

Charles and his wife Linda and son Lonnie move to a rented cabin so he can finish his book. Seems like no one rents the place, as there is 'something in the fields". And they come across an old hand (Ned) who restates the message. In the roles, no one will believe Charles is that dumb or naive with a rosy outlook on everything. Initially he not only seems to say his words from the script, but also stage direction. Things go bump in the night, so he calls a pest exterminator, who quickly decides it is beavers, and then rabid beavers. Never underestimate a rabid beaver. And one morning, Lonnie says he was kept up by noises coming from the bedroom. Well, that was beaver business! Everything is played to the point of absurdity, including terrible acting although that might be the only real part of the movie. The movie is an absurd comedy, and the creature is so badly done, it is also over the top. It is simply mindless entertainment and will soon be forgotten. There seems to be a certain earnestness in making a bad movie.
Ew dad you stepped in sh-it!...Don't you touch my root beer!.....Who taught you how to throw like that? Mom did!...Nobody is going to bite anyone's di-ck off...Speaking of beaver's.....This time there was a lot of moaning......C'mon, it's a stupid comedy movie. What did you expect? I actually thought it was funny as hell....If you remotely liked this check out The Bigfoot Project....that was hilarious...
The acting is so bad, in yet another horrible Bigfoot movie, you will laugh...for all the wrong reasons. Not an ounce of creepy atmosphere, and of course, the creature itself will also induce laughter. It gets three stars for the genuine audacity of its fifth grade dialogue.
