The IMDB label is a bit of a misnomer, as the program focuses every bit as much (if not more) on Irish contributions. This pair of episodes contains some extremely skilled performances by a number of recognizable actors, and commentary/presentation by a number of professors and experts who are very comfortable in front of a camera. The quality of this project is miles ahead of the average fare from tv history channels, and I'm a little shocked to be the first to review it. If you care about history of any sort, you'll be rewarded, and if you spend any time watching standard BritBox and Acorn staple series, you're in for an informative treat full of familiar faces. I'm tempted to rate it higher and it well deserves any praise it finds; the only reason it's not a 10/10 is because it isn't a genre-defining feature film or series (and without standards, what hope is left?). Watch it, it's awesome.
