"The Premiere" follows a young filmmaker grappling with high pressure at his first movie premiere. This movie takes place in Chicago, at a well known theatre.

As expectations soar and the possibility of a high-stake celebrity appearance, paranoia starts to flood his thoughts, adding to the already chaotic night. I love the emotions collected by the filmmaker, making you practically experience them yourself.

This sharp, surreal indie film masterfully captures the intense mental toll filmmakers can experience during the process of creating their films, or in this case, the initial release of their first movie. But it also shows the beautiful side of filmmaking and the intense relief that follows the completion of a film.

This is such a fun and enjoyable watch! So many smart and funny bits along the way of this truly indie comedy. It's a great representation of what the Chicago film scene can do.

SO many great comedic characters - loved the theater manager, impatient movie goers, and of course the MOM, so spot on!

This film is a great reminder of how cinema can transport us, and all the joys and sorrows that go into movie making and putting a piece of one's soul onto the screen. A must watch for all filmmakers and film enthusiasts.
