I really enjoyed this movie. The acting was strong, and the cinematography and music were beautiful. The shots were stunning and showcased the Australian landscape. I liked that the story was different and that the main character went through a character arc, struggling to survive on her own on a deserted island. I felt as though I went on the journey with her,

The little canary was so cute and a real character. The expression on her face was magical.

I was impressed by the fact that this was an independent movie made by such a small team and I'm looking forward to seeing what this group of filmmakers produce next.

Wow lovely Western Australian scenery and cinematography in this movie. The soundtrack suited the movie well too and I really liked the final vocal song.

I enjoyed the original story and the fact that it was set in the past before mobile phones and digital devices could be used for rescue. The main character played by Emilie Lowe had to totally rely on herself which was good to see. I also enjoyed her interactions with the cute canary and the way her character changed throughout the movie. I would watch it again and was impressed that this indie movie was made by only four people. Amazing achievement for a debut filmmaker.

A charming Australian film filled with breathtaking nature, uplifting music and engaging drama. A must see for anyone who wants to see the glorious Australian bushland as this movie really has some wonderful cinematography. The colours are amazing. I loved seeing the character development of Florence throughout the movie and her companion the little yellow canary was a real star with its sassy looks and glances. I really enjoyed watching the main character fight to survive against all society and all the odds that nature had to deliver. The filmmakers who made The Canary have done a wonderful job showcasing the Australian outback with both its harshness and beauty and the soundtrack tied in beautifully. Loved the costumes throughout as well.

I knew this movie would be good, but wow!!! I was blown away!! Constantly impressed by the stunning cinematography!! Such beautiful shots! The editing was next level! The music was incredible and such a perfect match to the imagery. And Emilie! You managed to hold my attention the entire length of the film! Despite it being a little longer than anticipated, my eyes were glued to the screen!! Well done! You're multi talented and have certainly raised the bar sky high!! I'm so impressed and having been raving about it since i watched it on Saturday night! I cannot wait to see what's next! This is only the beginning!! Congratulations 💃🌹🙏
