The Floaters

I got to see Floaters at its world premiere at the Bentonville Film Festival. I think the first half hour I was hit with such a barrage of humor and wit that my brain couldn't keep up. The characters really make the film including the devious but alluring antagonists. Having gone to Jewish summer camp myself, I recognized many details that rang true from my own experience. Sarah Podemski and Jackie Tohn both showcase other sides to them from the series roles they are most recently well known for. I really can't wait to see this film again and for my friends and family to see it. Honestly it's super funny, smart and full of heart.

I saw The Floaters when it came through Bentonville, AR for the film fest. It was SO GOOD! It was hilarious, heartwarming, and well paced. It was great to see so many familiar faces I've enjoyed in other works, including Seth Green, Aya Cash, Nina Bloomgarden, and Judah Lewis. I was also introduced to other incredibly talented actors, such as Sarah Podemski and Jackie Tohn! Watching The Floaters made me desperately wish that there were a summer camp for middle aged Jews. Alas, there is not, but luckily, this movie exists to fill the void! I will look forward to watching The Floaters again and again, and I'm excited to see more from the talented actors, director, and production team. Well done, everyone!
