I never thought that watching a TV series I watched years ago could make me this happy. I loved every nonsense and every drama. I'm glad the reunion movie was made. It was 10/10. I realised that my eyes were filled with tears when the credits came.
Is it normal that I got really sad and cried in the last scene of Hawk and Bryce?
Even though I really love all the characters, Bryce will always be number one in my heart.
Btw, I'm very upset that Johnny wasn't in the intro, but so happy that the new season was promised. The new season should come immediately. I don't want this for myself, I want this for Johnny...

My review is coming, strictly from the heart. I discovered the show through a meme from a friend who reposted a story on Instagram and boy am I so grateful. I never thought I would have so many laughs in my car during my lunch hour. Good times. The best part is I live in Idaho and many Californians have come to move here (an exodus of which I have no problem with); needless to say, any Californian who crosses my path immediately gets introduced to the Real Bros whether they want to or not. It is like a gospel I try to share with the world. Some people think it's a fake show - some people believe it's real. I tell neither the truth.

I'll start by saying that you probably will want to see the show before seeing the movie, but it's not a must. Much of the humor is new content, but the running gags like Hawk rapidly aging, Wade not burning and guys pretending to have done all the work on their own trucks but only having installed new subs, etc. Won't be as funny if you're not clued in on the context. They do the "Previously on Real Bros" cold open that gives some context but you'll still feel a bit left in the dark at times. All three seasons are free on Jimmy's YouTube channel, by the way.
Jimmy, Wade, Nick and Tanner are still absolutely hilarious in their roles, as are most of the girls. (especially Lexy omg) I was sad that Pete Davdison and Victoria Justice didn't make returns, but there are a ton of celebrity appearances that make up for it. The story itself is pretty fascinating and the characters get into some really goofy situations. The social commentary is epic also. I'm still shocked at how entertaining and hilarious this was, and I'm already itching for new content from these guys. A proper 4th season would be great but a sequel to this movie would work also.

This movie was everything and more. The movie was like several Simi episodes mashed into one in the best way possible. They stuck to the show and didn't stray. The humor, the drama, the plot, i mean everything was giving. Great movie! If you loved the show, you'll love the movie! They kept in some of the running gags, there were cameos from other characters, there were plot twists, there were new characters.
I would definitely recommend watching the series before you watch the movie. They just recently uploaded them all to youtube! If you watch the series, you'll catch the running gags, the iconic jokes, and the references. Did not disappoint. My hat goes to Jimmy and Christian, great job!

Longtime fan of Jimmy Tatro & Christian Pierce and love the Real Bros of Simi Valley series - this was funny, and it was great seeing the characters again... but it felt like an extended episode of just another season of the show... in movie form instead of episodic form... and as such, it didn't really rise to the level you'd expect from a movie.
Revisiting the Hawk ages fast and Wade doesn't burn gags was great - but they leaned a bit too heavily on that.
Also, the enjoyable part about the show was the over the top exaggerated "simi bro" lingo/attitude/acting - but it seemed overplayed in the movie as compared to the series. Like it went past the point of "funny over exaggeration" where the laugh came from you going "wow, but I know people just like this" to the point where it's like a parody of an over-exaggeration that is so outlandish that it's less funny.
Not sure if that makes sense, but basically things are funnier when writers/actors aren't telegraphing "this is silly so you're supposed to laugh"... like Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in Step Brothers, hilarious... Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly in that Sherlock Holmes movie... painfully unfunny.
I hope we get another season of the show - and hopefully somebody like Netflix will pick it up. Because in bite-sized doses... this show is a 8.5-9/10 but in movie form with no breaks, after this many years of the jokes, it's a bit stale.
And for the record, Wade totally doesn't burn.
