"Jongli" delivers an emotionally touching story, but unfortunately, its execution falters due to inconsistent performances. While the narrative has potential, Siam Ahmed's portrayal feels underwhelming, and certain scenes suffer from overacting, making it difficult to fully immerse in the film. Instead of being a masterpiece or even an average watch, the movie struggles to leave a lasting impression.
There is talk of a possible remake by Tamil or another regional Indian film industry, which could potentially refine the storytelling and elevate the performances beyond what was achieved in this version. Given the shortcomings of Jongli, that remake might offer a more compelling experience. As it stands, this film fails to resonate in the way it intended.

Very hyped movie but it didn't fulfill my expectations. The promotion of the movie was extraordinary. That draws spectators come to the cinema hall and watch the movie.
Many good things like the acting of the main leads, nice songs, and good BGM .But a weak story, slow screenplay, and childish VFX make this movie not world-class.
Siam, Boobly, and the child lead look great. Songs are greatly composed by the great Prince Mahmood.
I don't like the climax of the movie personally. The writer put the usual hit material into the movie that looks unnecessarily for me.
However, as a Dhallywood movie lover, one time watchable I must say.

Blend of action, drama, and family emotions that keeps the audience engaged from start to finish. Directed with finesse, the movie delivers high-energy fight sequences, gripping storytelling, and a strong emotional core that resonates with family audiences. Well-choreographed action scenes and beautifully shot family moments. The background score adds intensity to the fight sequences, while the songs provide the right emotional weight. A perfect entertainer for families who enjoy action-packed films with strong moral values. While the storyline follows some familiar tropes, the execution, performances, and high-octane action make it a must-watch.
To all my deshi people out there, please watch this movie. Give it a shot, offer your constructive feedback, and let's help our industry grow in a really good way. Respect to the makers!
So, I went into "Jongli" on Chorki completely blind - no trailer, zero idea what it was about. Honestly, for the first bit, I was just waiting, thinking, "Okay, if this doesn't get interesting in the next 10 minutes, I'm out." But then, wow, the story really started to unfold, and I found myself getting completely hooked.
And here's the kicker: it wasn't just a good story. As it developed, I was genuinely surprised to find it tackling crucial social causes. It was amazing, and I have so much respect for the makers for that alone. What makes "Jongli" truly stand out, especially from a Bangladeshi cinema perspective, is how bravely it brings up two incredibly important issues. Beyond the general social preaching, the film specifically touches upon "Touch", and then, BAM! That ending. Seriously, when they dropped the phrases on "Parenting" right at the very end as the big reveal of why everything happened? That was a total shocker and honestly, it's the best part of the whole movie for me. It just made everything click. It's genuinely rare to see a single Bangladeshi film address topics like these so directly and powerfully, and I have immense respect for the filmmakers for bringing these crucial causes to light.
The casting across the board was really good. You can see the talent there, and I'm really hoping to see them grow their skills even further in future projects.

"Jongli" showcases the brilliance of Bangladeshi cinema. With its compelling storytelling and outstanding performances, especially by the young Noireeta, it is a must-watch for audiences seeking quality cinema.
The dedication of the entire cast and crew is evident, resulting in a film that is both engaging and thought-provoking. Noireeta's portrayal of Pakhi is nothing short of extraordinary. Despite her young age, she brings a depth and authenticity to her character that resonates profoundly with the audience.
Siam Ahmed once again proves why he is one of the most versatile actors in Bengali cinema today. His portrayal of a rugged, determined yet emotionally vulnerable character is both powerful and nuanced.
In short, with Noireeta's extraordinary performance and Siam Ahmed's magnetic screen presence, this film is a must-watch for all Bengali cinema lovers.
