The level of violence and darkness of the episode is to the point that the credits inform the audience of this. Davoud's car and the appearance of his life show his financial problems. Since he cannot even afford to buy a doll and sees selling land in Nowhere as his only way of salvation. It seems that he lost his brother in a fight and conflict, which is why he has become a conservative and cowardly character.
