Does anyone remember Tommy Wiseau's The Room? One of the most laughed at, ridiculed films of all time. If Tommy was to watch Maid Droid Origins, he'd think his movie was 10 times better. That's how bad this is. The second the film starts you can see that the film hasn't been shot properly, the colour is washed out. The score is preposterous, the acting is woefully bad, I've honestly seen better in a year 1 school nativity play. The dialogue is stilted and as if written by a year 2 student. They've not used a single light in an scene. There really isn't any saving grace for this film. Except, it's one of those that can be watched at frat parties and laughed at as it's so ludicrous. I can't believe anyone in the world thought this was OK to release. I gave it a 1 because I can't rate zero.

The one good note I want to leave is for the sound department (Alexander Givens-Baran), specially during the turntable scene, it was so good it didn't even seem like it was from this movie. And to Katie Kay (Eve), playing an android is not easy, specially without special effects.
As for the rest of the movie...
The plot was confusing and bad put together, a lot of scenes also didn't seem to add anything to the story or to the characters. I really don't get what was the idea Rich Mallery had for this. The dialogs were also unnatural while trying to give them some deeper meaning or some reflection but ended up just sounding weird.
They could also have putted more work in the editing, the sliding transitions look strange, but that could be a budget limitation.

I just couldn't stop watching.
I never expected to watch this one for more than a few minutes. A low budget movie about a sexy robot? Its been done many times so hilariously bad , I figured this was just more of the same. Our leading lady doesn't just have the face of a goddess , she does a good job of playing a sexy naive robot. Sure the low budget shows throughout this movie. But for the most part , our leads read their lines well. The plot has a fun little harmless kink to it and imo the ending fit the movie perfectly.
Maybe Its just me but I couldn't stop watching Katie Kay. She did a good job being the sexy android.
If you are in the mood to watch a beautiful woman and have a few laughs try this one out.

The 4 stars are for the 10 star ladies, the rest of the movie is not so good. There is some partial nudity, but no sex scenes. There is a cat fight though at one point, and it was hilarious, but I suppose all cat fights are.
The story is about an android woman and her creator and his wife. The plot does move along and it is cohesive at least, it's more of a relationship drama.
There are basically no special effect. It all happens in 2 rooms in his house, and some weird place where the android woman goes talk to her android goddess or something. So we are talking super low budget.
The acting is digestible I suppose, no overacting which might have made this more comedic, instead they try their best with what they are given.

This is another lower budget independent film which really did not need a sequel. It is very much just a sequel in name, as there are connections to the original. The original film wasn't great but it had a decent enough concept and a compelling performance by the lead Android. Now this follow up feels just as lower budget, maybe a little better but the story is not as intriguing and more confusing. The Android woman in this film isn't as good as the one served in the original but she's decent enough.
For the most part, everything is relatively bland and moves at a slow pace. There is somewhat of an unexpected twist near the end which makes things a little more interesting. It elevates the film slightly but overall it's not that great. The acting is also very amateurish and not convincing, both by the lead man and his wife.

- GaffesWhen Eve (played by Katie Kay) was shut down at 0% battery and left inanimate, you can see the actress swaying back and forth as the actress is unable to stand perfectly still.
