Leanne

I love LeAnne as a stand-up comedian so I was curious about her new show. So far it's cute & quirky with southern charm. I'm 5 episodes in and it got better after the 2nd episode. As any new show goes it takes a moment to a get a feel for it, this one is growing on me and has a lot of potential. It's not super hilarious but it is funny and a lot better than other shows these days that have such dry/boring humor that rarely get a laugh. I have laughed several times watching this so far. I think the cast is great aside from her daughter, not sure what about her irks me. Anyway I think it's great so far.

Love Leanne but the inserted laughter and music in between scenes takes from the show.

They should look at how "Modern Family" was so successful ..... without background music or laughter.

The storylines and jokes are good. I would like to have seen more "real" scenes vs fake ones. I hope it makes it but prefer Leanne on stage.

A little shy of Lorre's quick witted sexually-tinged repartee but then of course it's a Southern twist & that's just not their style. Can definitely live without the laugh track. They're silly and pointless. Surprised he hasn't quite moved on from that.

We binged it and thought it was fine. Mostly predictable twists and turns.

I love Leanne Morgan's comedy but I was unsure what to expect. Fortunately it gets better as the show goes along as most do; you get to know the characters and their little quirks. Leanne does pretty well as an actress and I have loved Kristen Johnson since Third Rock From The Sun, she is a strong supporting character as Leanne's sister. The rest of the characters are strong as well. The show may not be at the top of the comedy ladder, but it's worth watching.

Leanne is very funny. Can relate to her and her life. Good supporting cast.

I saw comments about the laugh track. The internet shows this is filmed before a live studio audience so not sure why a laugh track added.

This show would not work in the style of "Modern Family". Definitely comparable to "Reba". I'm really happy it is funny and hope they get a second season. Yay for Kristin Johnson (her show on TV Land was e ballet too) and love Ryan Stiles too. Mom and Dad are SO relatable. All around way to go.
