Pushers

I make no apologies for loving Rosie Jones. She has a talent beyond belief and has made a great name for herself. I find her acting effortless and natural, her comedy sublime and her subject matter excellent. Pushers is a genius blend of social commentary and comedy. I love how the cast doesn't get any of her jokes and they just hang in the air. All the characters are well thought out and beautifully performed by a very talented cast. Rosie has got it right. The disgrace of this countries blind ignorance to the issues that face people with disabilities and on the breadline is lit up like a beacon. The fact that she volunteers like so many for Charities across the country, whilst the system grinds her down and and makes it impossible for her to survive is the sort of writing that needs attention. I have loved every minute of Pushers. Brave writing indeed.

Absolutely loved the characters, ideas, and story.

I was captivated from episode 1. Hoping channel 4 make more series of this as it would he great to see how it develops.

Rosie jones is really funny, she's one of my favourite comedians. Her writing it great and I found myself laughing out loud a lot during this show.

The concept of then show is a really fun and witty idea, I've never seen anything like it before.

Really enjoyed the set design, location choices and whole vibe of the show.

Hoping for a season two please! Just wonderful.

Rosie Jones is a superior comedy writer and Pushers is an excellent demonstration of playing to one's strengths and it's great to see her enjoying her character and not hogging all the best comedic lines for herself.

This show has perfect nuances of dark comedy shrouded by the realism of challenges and discrimination faced by society with varying disabilities.

This is a typical Channel 4 outing of how we should be exposed to a variety of creativity from all aspects and allow the viewer to immerse themselves into a world rarely treated to a comedic viewpoint without being directly or indirectly offensive to anyone.

A comedy of errors if we need to have the word comedy associated with this poorly written obvious waste of time.

Whoever told the writer they were funny was only being kind.

Disjointed difficult to follow and oh how slow and barely pedestrian it moved from o e painfully stereotyped scene to another.

Clearly filmed on a budget when the supporting cast had the spare time it gave the impression it was just a vehicle to press home Rose is disabled and requires reminding and is desperately seeking a numerous angle.

Spoiler alert it wasn't funny it was embarrassing and quite frankly insulting to anyone with an ounce of respecting the diverse society we live in.

Good try but a fail.

Whilst attempting to be Shameless with disabilities but didn't live up to this. The acting was generally terrible and jokes the same.

Although I like the thought of disabled people being seen in society as all too often they are overlooked. Unfortunately many of the punch lines were missed and story line slow and predictable.

It made disabled people appear dishonest and stupid. What we are told in the media about many people falsely claiming benefits is made to appear true- whilst unfortunately there are many honest people out there who do not do this. Scenes like cocaine constantly being spilt or pretending to wet themselves just enhances the disabled stereotype. If you are going to do a comedy about disabled people you need to make them the opposite to this.
