"This movie may start off at a slow pace, and some scenes may feel exaggerated, particularly those featuring Inspector Dinesh Negi.
However, the film's clever plot twist will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Just when you think you've identified the culprit, the tables turn, and the real murderer is revealed. The U-Turn in the story is expertly executed, making the movie a thrilling ride from start to finish.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui's exceptional acting skills and comedic timing add to the entertainment value, keeping the audience engaged throughout. The film's slow and steady pace ultimately pays off, making it a worthwhile watch."
"The story skillfully weaves a tale of how good individuals can be misled and suspected by exploiting their vulnerabilities.
It highlights how criminal minds, particularly women in this case, cleverly manipulate these weaknesses to fulfill their sinister desires. The narrative expertly showcases how innocent people can be trapped in a web of deceit, making it a gripping and thought-provoking thriller."

Movie Review: Rautu ka Raaz streaming on Zee5 !!
An insipid yet interesting whodunit based in a sleepy town of Rautu Ki Beli in Uttarakhand, where no murder has been reported in the last 15 years. When the unnatural death of a warden at a School for Blind children disturbs the peace of sleepy Rautu, Inspector Deepak Negi ( Nawazuddin Siddiqui) takes it upon himself to solve the mystery.
Aaram aaram se chalta hai sab kuch !! No hurry at all ... Time slows down and so does the narrative. If u r in a mood for some fast paced stuff better skip this one. But if u have watched and enjoyed films like " Manorama - 6. Feet under" , you will find this film worth watching. Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the protagonist with his sidekick Inspector Dimri (Rajesh Kumar - Roshesh of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai fame) do their best to wander around , question the unwilling suspects, encounter political pressure and yet solve the mystery !!
The film has its flaws , some side stories are introduced & then left in the lurch making u wonder the purpose of having them in the first place. However the film has a twist in the end which has been revealed very well 👍👍
An offbeat kind of a film .. not for people who love the mar dhaad , dhishoom dhishoom kind of films!! I enjoyed it ... A decent one time watch.
Going with 3/5 for this one !! Adios 🙂

Nawazuddin Siddiqui shines like never before in this understated gem, delivering a performance that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The film's locations, nestled in the serene beauty of Uttarakhand, add to its charm, making you fall in love with the simplicity of both the land and the character, Rautu. The supporting cast does an exceptional job, but it's Nawaz's portrayal that truly stands out, effortlessly bringing depth to his character. The storyline is compelling, weaving through the narrative with a gentle yet captivating pace. While a few scenes, like the bar sequence, betray the film's modest budget, they are minor blemishes in an otherwise well-crafted film. In an era where originality in Bollywood is a rarity, this movie shines through with its refreshing approach. Despite its lack of action, which feels unnecessary, it ticks all the boxes of a good Bollywood film and could have easily been a hit in theaters. This movie is a testament to the fact that sometimes, less is indeed more.
Neat and nice movie without any tamasha. Directly involved in solving the case. Superb screenplay storyline and photography. Thank to all. This is amazing investigation story with humour. All actors and actresses have played their roles very realistically and just like natural acting. It was great experience to watch and feel the real investigation rather than usual typical filmy. I love this movie you can watch this movie with entire family and friends. Locations suited to story and all charactors in this movie are likr real and especially those who have played the roles of blinds. Hats off to them.
It's rare to say for a murder mystery but it is a soulful film single handedly carried away by Nawazuddin Siddique on his shoulder. Himalayan setting give the apt atmosphere to the film. It also reminds us after Raat Akeli Hai that how good Nawaz looks as a policeman solving mysteries. Director Anand Surpur has done a wonderful job with the simple script he has in his hand. Rajesh Kumar as Inspector Dimri also add flavor to the film and conversations between him and Nawaz bring humor to the otherwise dull film.
Background story of Negi should be elaborated to the audience for attachment with the character.
