Remember Afton

This is one of the most story-rich, technically advanced, and well-thought Machinimas I have ever seen. Even compared to other shows outside of Machinimas, the story is so compelling and each episode makes me want to watch more! Each episode I can see the improvements in production as Crowned Cinema continues to learn and improve! Everything from the world, the characters, the timeline, and everything in this show has such a degree of care put into it that makes it stand out.

Remember Afton is an amazing passion project that goes beyond what I thought was possible with a medium that has lacked much innovation in the past few years (technically and story-wise). This is NOT just some kids show using Minecraft to gather a young audience, this is a show that uses Minecraft (and other software) to its fullest technical capabilities to tell a heartfelt story that goes beyond what I have ever seen in this medium.

Genuinely can't put words here of how much i love this show. I rewatch it everyday and everyday i got to see new little details. The characters, the way they act, the way the talk feels so real. The whole team doing great job and while watching Remember Afton you just know that everyone are passion about this project and love doing their work. I really love RA simply because it gives us new look at William Afton and adds new characters to the story that actually makes story feel even interesting. Like it's basically "what if we put Breaking Bad into Five Night At Freddy's setting?" And we all know that Breaking Bad is awesome in any setting.

It's not exceedingly rare to find good ideas, what's uncommon is the full execution of them, and even more unlikely yet is for that execution to be so effortlessly effective. This series has made me consider the medium of machinima as nothing short of brilliant. It's the perfect combination of accessible, versatile, and immersive. Within the right hands, those with enough technical and cinematic knowledge can create something truly cutting edge and captivating.

Especially for being an independent production, the CrownedCinema team has done an unbelievable job at developing a signature style. The custom 3D models are immaculately detailed and stylistically consistent, the original score is truly elevating, and the voice talent is perfectly cast and incredibly skilled. And of course, the thoughtful writing of it all ties the series together into an amazingly cohesive work of art.

The thought of Remember Afton inspiring the consideration of machinima to other showrunners-to-be is very exciting. I genuinely believe it's the perfect medium for new directors with grand aspirations and few resources to realize their vision. RA is a near perfect example of what can be done on a dream, a shoestring budget, and a metric ton of elbow grease.

Remember Afton is one of those web shows that just hooks you right from the start. I mean, seriously, from the characters to the storyline, everything about it is just so captivating. The way they weave together mystery, drama, and a touch of comedy is pure magic.

When I first stumbled upon Remember Afton, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The first episode drew me in with its intriguing plot twists and complex characters. I found myself invested in the life of Afton and her friends, eagerly waiting for each new episode to drop.
