Crusaders

The concept is there and it looks like it has some potential. However, the bad rendering, lazy editing, poor lighting and obvious character design and animation errors took away something that may have some potential.

The different character models and designs are as evident in the production image, which has more depth while the whole short is like a mediocre PS2 game. Speaking of, the good news is that I do appreciate the video game aesthetics.

Overall, this is a valiant effort that has given us false promises. The artist behind this would later go on to work for shows like Storm Hawks and Rated A for Awesome and would be involved in artwork for the Shank games and other game titles from Klei Entertainment. Fortunately this short teaches us that in order to get to the top, you need to scrape the bottom of the barrel first.
