Behuli from Meghauli

I was initially reluctant to watch this movie after reading some reviews and comments. But after watching it, I would recommend this movie to everyone. It is a fun watch with subtle comedy and also has a powerful message. Few attempts at comedy land flat and don't generate any laughter. Apart from that, everything about this movie is good. Swastima Khadka is at her best and supporting actors are brilliant. Bijay Baral is a gifted actor. Bashundhara Bhusal is always extraordinary. Songs are few and good. Touches upon important topics like mental health, divorce and others without being preachy. Blends everything in artistic manner. Go and watch it. Highly recommended.

Unlike the previous movies , the script is not the hero here. It's a struggle of a girl to make her love story complete by marrying a boy he wanted while the boy has other ideas . Several options pass by , while the director and the actor try hard to provide funny gigs the story falls on its head because of mediocre dialogues, scripts , acting . Even nischhal basnet doesn't look comfortable in most of the scenes .

The story gets confused in delivering the critical message , wants to provide feminist touch in the end but few of the dialogues before that show otherwise .

I hoped a better preparation before diving into the movie making . Nischal you might be loosing your touch , please come back.

Wow. This movie is a must watch movie of this year. It's great masage to this community. This is happening alot in all over all the community. Thank you the director, producer,writer and all the actress and actor of the movie bringing the lessonfull movie to our society. This a super duper hit movie.

Plz all the parents should understand that daughter are given gift to our home. They should be loved more and given right as your son. Behuli from meghauli show the Nepalese diversity in culture. This movie in particular shows the rich tradition one has to go throught for marriage. Marriage culture in nepal takes lots of rituals and it highly depends on societies expectations. Marriage is a hufe deal in country like Nepal with high power distance. This movie in particular really gives the message to the world.

My favourite part of the movie is during the ending when their mariage is successful. I totally recomend this movie to anyone interested in romance Presonally the role of the father and his daughter touched me the most emotionally.
